I love how it's hardcover! It's a very pretty book. I haven't read much of it but i have looked at the illustrations on every page and read the little descriptions for them and i learned a lot just from that. This is a kind of book where you can take pictures of the examples for palpitations, massage, and stretches and take the phone to your horse and practice them. I also like how throughout the chapters on biomechanics and anatomy there are pictures of the joints but there are also pictures in the back of the book that show the whole horse's skeleton and muscle layers! I'm very pleased with the book and the price i paid for it. Along with this book i also got......"Horse Hoof Care" With this other book i hope to learn the whole horse!! The Physical therapy for horses dose not have anything in depth about the hooves so that is why i got the "horse hoof car" all these books i got here on desertcart! Review: Answers SO many questions. - Amazing book. I have had a three decades career as human bodyworker and function movement professional. For 9 years I have been chasing my horse’s asymmetries and inability to engage her hindquarters. 9 years and untold $$$$$. The author so clearly explains the functional anatomy I now have a deep understanding of the root of my mare’s problems. If only the many farriers, chiropractors and veterinarians she has seen had read this book. NO one has “seen” her the way this book makes perfectly clear. I feel empowered to help her rather than going down the road of endless injections for issues that are peripheral and secondary to the root cause of her difficulties. We need more people like Dr Kleven. They are not teaching this level of analysis in vet schools.
