Lovely to work with, but definitely off-white
Lovely to work with, used 2.5mm hook for mini doilies/coasters. However I missed in the description it is off-white not white, it is very creamy which is annoying as I'd made them for a white window sill. Won't buy this colour again, they look old when I've only just made them!

Lovely yarn to crotchet with. Stitches are defined and the slight sheen on the yarn makes items look nice.

Lovely silky smooth cotton. Gorgeous colour. Pure sunshine.
Lovely cotton to crochet with. Very fine and would take an age to make clothing or anything like that, but it’s ideal for detail work or as a very thick thread to use for embroidery on blankets. No knots found throughout the length neither which is a bonus.

Soft Golden Beige Color with a Slight Sheen -- Not Metallic
It's not a bright gold and it's not a metallic gold. It's a softer, understated gold with a moderate sheen. Don't be misled by the description of being "highly mercerized" to connote that it's stiff because its soft to work with and feels comfortable against the skin. It doesn't have that shiny-stiff mercerized feel of other threads that are more appropriate for structured projects like Christmas ornaments. The color works well in combination with other colors as an accent color. But it's certainly beautiful on its own. DMC makes high quality products and I'd definitely buy again.
