Holstee Reflection Cards - A Deck of 100+ Questions to Spark Meaningful Connections and Conversations

I loved this deck of cards, from the packaging to the thoughtful questions. I used it with my best friend of 8 years and I still learned new things about her through these questions. I love the fact that there are two types of questions that could be asked (the shallow and deep side) and even the shallow side still had thoughtfulness in it. I am so happy that I found this. You can use this on a date, hanging out with friends or even your significant other of many years. Very family friendly and you’d be surprised what you will learn about people who you thought you knew everything about. 5 stars!

This is one of the most gifted question sets in my collection. The cards are high quality and offer a great tactile experience. They are robust enough to be used in a variety of settings (parties, dates, train rides, workshops), and small enough to fit into any pocket. Having two questions of different dephts on each card makes it an easy starter set when using it with people who've never seen a conversation deck before. Overall, I love it, and recommend it to everyone who likes to have insightful questions available on the go.

We are big fans of game night with our friends, often with the usual board games. We tried these cards out and it was a really great way to get to know our friends better. It admittedly can feel odd in the first question or two, but once you laugh it off and get it rolling it can spark some unexpected, funny, deep and often uniting conversations. My wife is a yoga and meditation teacher and has used the deck to open discussion around some of the themes of the cards (compassion, resilience, gratitude, reflection, kinship, adventure, etc) and said that the questions sparked some interesting and meaningful conversations among her students. They make a really unique gift, with the high-end quality and design we've come to expect from Holstee. The size and feel of the cards is that of a high quality deck of playing cards. Definitely recommend these.

There are so many cards out there and almost all of them for me- are pretty repetitive and brings nothing new. These ones are different- some of the best, great and interesting questions to evoke deep conversation between friends and family. Highly recommended. I also got the gratitude ones - and they are very uplifting. These ones are great for getting to know yourself and others better.

I first bought the reflection cards more so based on good looking design. I was also familiar with Holstee from their Holstee manifesto poster and other products, so was curious to try this deck of questions. I tried them with friends at a holiday get together and it made the conversation go into new directions when normally would have been stuck with small talk. I thought I would then try it at my work's small team holiday potluck and it was a big hit. I'm now going to use them for future workshops with the team, especially with new team members. Would recommend for people to try the easy "ice breaker" questions to start and then throw it the deeper questions as the group gets more comfortable. The quality of the cards themselves were also a nice surprise. I expected the basic playing cards material, but they have a nice texture to them and they're sized almost the same as playing cards, so good for pocket-sized travel. Overall would definitely recommend this!

I am an online English teacher and I love using these cards with my intermediate and advanced students. I pick out a few cards and have the student choose one to answer. I like that the questions go beyond your typical conversation starter questions. One recent question was "What are you holding on to that you need to let go of?" My student asked to think about that question over the week and then came back with a three page answer she had written out. This little deck of cards would be great for work teams and families as well, since they are portable and versatile.

An interesting deck of thought-provoking questions. Only have had the chance to use it once but definitely got my friends and I sharing thoughts and feelings that wouldn't have come to mind otherwise.
