Dominoes: Five-Up and Other Games

One of the best reference pieces on the game of dominoes that I have run across. Game rules vary from place to place but this book is a good source of basic information and thinking on the game. Seller's service was good as expected too.

Finally in writing going to nail down the cheaters who keep changing the rules on me.

Here is why I am satisfied with this book & would purchase more books written by Mr. Armanio: 1. His text writing is easily understandable, which is to say: (A.) His sentences are clear, & (B.) His paragraph organization is well titled and logically organized. 2. He adds further to his clarity with well designed and sequenced graphic illustrations of the Dominoes in play AND not in play. 3. He addresses all aspects of the game(s) from start to finish, along with optional popular variations.

It was not as good as the book I written by him but it was okay

Good read. Informative with good examples.

Easy to understand book on how to play popular dominoes games. Would have liked it better had it included more content on games other than 5-up. The book devotes over of its almost 200 pages to the game of 5-up, the balance to other games.

I order domino books for my boss for Christmas and birthdays. He likes to give them to friends who he beats in tournaments. I always keep one or two on hand in case he has run out and has the need to give one away. the one i ordered arrived quickly and in good condition. I am totally happy with my purchase.

Very informative, helpful book. Goes much deeper into the Five-Up game of dominoes than I expected. Still haven't made it through the strategy chapter. Used this book to go from no dominoes knowledge to having fun playing regularly!

Una piccola gemma. Quasi tutti i libri sul mercato parlano solo delle regole del gioco, ma poco delle strategie. Questo libro invece fa delle analisi molto approfondite. Si vede che l'autore amava il domino. Questo libro è stato scritto negli anni 50 a San Francisco, quando era in voga la versione chiamata Five Up. È leggermente diversa dalla versione più comune negli Usa attualmente (straight domino o All Fives). Ma è un ottimo gioco veloce e divertente.

Excellent product.

Its a shame the book had sellers stickers on it which could not be removed without damaging the book. The book is good otherwise.
