Absolutely love this bamboo mat! I used it in front of my spa and it looks so clean and high end. It gives the whole area a relaxing spa-like feel while also keeping things neat and dry. Very sturdy, easy to fold, and dries quickly. Such a pretty and functional addition to my space!

Overall this is a good product. The size is fine, the mat stays in place in the shower, and shower water drains well. However, the mat MUST receive regular treatment to prevent the formation of mold/mildew. We've been using a product purchased from Amazon, PermaSafe SHIELD, and treat the mat every three to four months for the past year plus. Prior to treatment we cleaned the mat with a bleaching product, rinsed and then treated it with a peroxide solution to insure the removal of all mold and mildew. Since applying the shield treatment the mat looks great. One other small annoyance is that that some of the silicon tabs on the back of the mat have come off over the years. They can be replaced by gluing them back on with a quality silicone adhesive. Just insure that the adhesive has antimicrobial properties. The image is of the mat after 3 years of use and treatment.

I am pleased with this sturdy lightweight foldable mat. My plan is to take it camping as a standing pad for an outdoor shower, but this mat would be lovely for an elegant bathroom or other rooms inside and outside. I did not want a long mat because I needed the mat to be lightweight to carry into a campground shower. Bamboo is a sustainable because it is actually a fast growing grass. As long as panda habitats are protected, I am satisfied with the almost indistructable bamboo. The individual bamboo rectangles of the mat are almost the size of dominos. The wooden pieces are held together with plastic string. I do not know how long the plastic string will last. One photo shows the texture of the bamboo rectangles. I rolled the mat and placed it into a lightweight mesh carry container which was also purchased on Amazon. I can take the mat to campground showers or keep it near my vehicle for a car camping shower or at the beach. This mat can multitask which is what I needed it to do. Another photo shows how the mat rolls and fits easily into the mesh carry container. With the mat are squeeze bottles to hold biodegradable hair and body hygiene products and a set of lightweight but huge towels also purchased on Amazon. The towels roll neatly into its own carry bag. This mat would be great for those who use dorm showers or don’t want to stand other people’s shower water. Last spring I made that mistake and have searched for a lightweight solution that could be sanitized easilywith a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol. My shower hygiene kit is almost complete. The third photo shows how my big size eleven feet and crutch fit comfortably on the mat. The crutch may be cut out of the Amazon frame, but it’s there. Because of recent ankle fractures and surgery, the mat I chose needed to be flat and stable. As an interesting observation: The black pads on the back do not grip the vinyl tile floor. The mat still slides. I purchased shower grip tape and will apply some on the pads to se if the pads will grip better. After breaking both ankle bones in one foot and three months unable to stand on that foot, I am exceedingly cautious about falls. I did not fall while camping and hiking. I fell at home. I am unsure what the black pads would grip. I already have grip tape and silicone caulk at home, so I am able to create a work-around. I am pleasantly satisfied with my purchase and would recommend to friends and family. This mat would make a nice gift too. As a side note- this bamboo mat would make a nice table mat. I know it’s not the intended purpose but capers and people with a natural gift for event planning will understand my point. Thank you for taking the time to read this review. Great bathroom mat. Wish the bottom had sort of a table mat backing. This will prevent slipping and also help when cleaning. Becasue it’s bamboo that’s why it doesn’t have this. I don’t like reg bath mats being they harbor bacteria dirt and stay wet for a period of time. I use essential oil of tea tree to clean my mat. A few drops and rub into the mat. This helps prevent bacteria.

Stylish but slips a lot (which sorta defeats the purpose).

Bought is bath mat for my daughter’s bathroom and she loves it.

Our camper has a wet bath so we install it after a shower to have a dry floor when using washroom later at night

I love it too fancy and give good look only you need to dry it it became good not like the normal map towel get wet and dirty love it
