ORB The Factory Sticky Mosaics Butterflies Yellow/Blue/Pink/Purple/Pink, 12' x 2' x 10.75'

A very easy craft for young children between 3 and 7 years old as the mosaic pieces are self-sticking.. It consists of a cardboard scene onto which little foam stickers are pasted to embellish the picture. Some of the pieces are glittered to make the scene more attractive. There is a chart to follow with each colored tile being assigned a number on the picture which is a teaching aid. Children learn how to match the tile with the number on the picture. The tiles are also shaped round or square and you must make sure you are using the right shaped tile. There are more than enough stickers in case of mistakes. I am a grandmother and enjoy creating pictures along with my grandchildren. I have bought about 6 different sets, some for them to take home, and some to keep in my house. If you have older kids there are also more slightly more difficult kits with and without gluing that you can look into.

My grandson LOVES sticky mosaics and as been doing them since he was 3 (he's now almost 6). A fun craft that is not only fun but works with fine motor skills and matching skills. I have only one complaint with every brand that makes them. I wish they would put the color numbers on the back of each pad of stickys. There have been some kits that come with 10 or more colors (and some colors very similar, like 3 pinks) and so often the key code colors don't match that well to the actual sticky color and we have had to figure it all out by "process of elimination" I have often written the numbers on the backs of each pad myself to help my grandson so he doesn't use the wrong color for a number. Also, a great snow day or rainy day craft!

This is my third set and they are great except 2 sets have been short on stickers.. this last set short on blue stickers...disappointed.

My daughter loves this butterfly mosiac! I added it to her science butterfly unit for our spring homeschool. She used tweazers to add each sticker. Good eye hand coordination. However, I wouldn't recommend this for kids under 6 because it takes a lot of attention span. Overall, very happy with my purchase. Great value because the boards are high quality.

Fabulous activity for a focused child who enjoys art and stickers!

My Granddaughter who just turned 5 loves this. She works on it for about 10 or 15 mins and takes a break. We told her this is a big project. She plans to display these on her wall by her top bunk.

I gave this to my 3 yr old gradndaughter and her mom let her do it on her own. She ruined more than 1/2 of the sticker tiles. This really needs to be dne with an adult. Get hand to brain functions. Beautiful card board pictures. We were able to salvage many of the tiles and were able to complete 1-2 pictures with these tuiles. You really do not have to use the actual color and make up your own color scheme --which we did. Now she is 4 years old and I think it woudl have been more appropriate to get for her. She still does not want to follow the color schemes which is fine. ENjoy and make beautiful pictures.

I bought these under the cover of a gift for the grandkids, but I enjoyed doing them just as much as they did.
