Great replacement
Have had this installed for several months and it was a great replacement for a previous baffle that failed. See no issues with it and if it doesn’t last, it is cheap enough to replace again. Easy to install.

I bought this ballast to make a UV disinfectant set up, and to see if it would work with my existing UV filter on my water system. I chose it because it seemed similar to my Express Water UV filter ballast.The label shown here is not the same as what I received. The top label looks exactly like my existing EW ballast, as well as the label on the side: Model G16.Other sites and offers rate similar 4pin ballasts at 10-17W.I have tested it and it works just fine with Philips 38542-7 TUV 11W 4P SE lamps which can be found online for <9.

I had a ballast go bad in my rainfresh UV light RUV5 model, and the replacement ballast through rainfresh was over $200.This doesn’t have the But plugged in to the factory bulb does does the trick for a fraction of the price
