Ensure Plus

I was recovering from surgery and needed something I could have now and then that offered nutrients without me having to do hardly a thing. These taste pretty good, go down fast, and you can get back to healing. Or you can slam one when you're overwhelmed and doing too many projects and have plans to go have dinner, but this will hold you until then. I strongly feel that one shouldn't replace ALL of your meals with these? But when things get hectic or you want to replace ONE meal and go back to sleep: the Ensure is great.

Yummy chocolate drink that makes an easy drink replacement for a meal. Sweet enough, but not overly so. Kind of like chocolate ice cream melted & what you're drinking up is still slightly thick. I like that it doesn't have to be refrigerated until it's opened, though some may want to drink it chilled. It was tough to find a shake that didn't contain icky sucralose, so I'm glad this doesn't have that in the ingredients. (I know some people don't mind that aftertaste, but for those of us who are more sensitive to it, it's getting really hard to find products that don't contain it, even when some of those are already sweetened with actual sugar.) And I'm going to see how my tummy reacts to this if I end up drinking them daily, since I'm sensitive to dairy (which in a way is worse than being lactose intolerant, since taking lactase pills doesn't help me avoid tummy troubles or the other side effects of having anything with dairy). If I tolerate it well, I'm definitely switching one meal a day with a bottle of the Ensure PLUS, for both a calorie savings (overall) & to make sure at least one meal per day has the complete nutrients I need. Glad this one also has higher protein content, which is awesome since I'm getting a late start on my plan to get back into weight training.

When one is in a rush, this item offers a satisfying, healthy solution, love it!

I like that it is somewhat filling so i can use it as a meal replacement now and then.

Wawww it’s really good

I don't always have the option of eating a well balanced diet. If I'm not hungry, I don't eat which leaves a big nutritional hole in my diet. Protein is the most critical shortage in my diet and the Ensure Plus shakes provide the protein I would ordinarily miss and does so without the heavy, over-full sensation I've encountered with other brands of nutritional shakes.

A-l class product. Very healthy to drink. Also tastes great!

The shake like consistency and flavor were very good. I would buy it again.
