Edelbrock 1221 Signature Series Air Cleaner

Great, relatively cheap alternative to an OE air cleaner. Looks great in the engine bay and fits over my Edelbrock AVS2 carburetor perfectly. Chrome and filter element seem to be good quality and has lasted a year so far.

Great finish, i bought amazon warehouse deal for $25. Fast shipping and great value. Comes with chrome top, bottom, and filter with box and instructions. Helps my engine bay have that dressed look while i refinsh factory air cleaner. Filer is decent quality. Had no issues with finish and quality as other may have said. I recommend, installed on a 1987 c10 tbi 5.7 350 v8. I had to purchase the Spectre Air Cleaner Riser Kit as well for $10 - part# 4954. This kits includes different sized risers for clearance. The cleaner bowl was hitting my valve vent hose that ran to the factory riser under the air cleaner. I suppose this was an issue because this edelbrock kit drops your filter it about half an inch. I installed 1" riser and issue was fixed and was able to install this 14" instead of the smaller 10" cleaner. Really did help higher rpm power. I pass much easyier at 70pmh. Works great fit great Looks great, requires regular cleaning if you like that shiny finish! But its a good price.

No fault with product, but there was fault with my measurements. Attempted several types of spacers to get it to work, but the spacers impacted carb function. Be sure to accurately measure prior to install. Will probably repurchase in the future after completed other modifications to my truck.

Great filter at a great price. Used on a 1987 Chevy with TBI. Needed 3/4 in. spacer and a Spectre Performance 4215 stud.

I wasn't sure if it'll clear the linkage of my Edelbrock carb and was thinking of ordering adapters etc, but it fits like a glove. If you have an Edelbrock carb, there shouldn't be ANY issue. Bought the filter as a customer return marked off quite a bit - to my surprise I can't find any cosmetic damage other than a scratch where it can't really be seen. Looks great, not too flimsy, came with wing nut, filter element, top and bottom, all you need and good quality.
