Expensive but saved my printer
I used this kit to clean the printer head on my HP 8620. One color was almost solid, and another was gooey thick. The other two colors seemed to be okay. I cleaned the whole cartridge and used the whole bottle of liquid. The ink flowed great after using this cleaner. I did find another problem in my print head. There was a tape seal in the air compartment that was damaged, so I replaced it with a piece of label maker tape. The printer works great now. I almost put it out to the trash. An equivalent replacement printer cost 500-600 dollars. This was money well spent.

Easy and effective.
This kit was easy to use in cleaning my Canon print head. The included hose attached firmly to the print head, and the syringe applied enough force to clear the clogged nozzles. The instructions suggest warming the cleaning solution. I did not do this, but even at room temperature it worked quickly. At first, only a slow drip of cleaner came out of the nozzles, but that soon changed to a multiple-stream spray as the nozzles were cleared. The design of the Canon printer allows you to remove the heads for cleaning, which simplifies the process, but it's still messy. A disposable tray (I used a plastic milk jug with the top cut off, filled with a few paper towels) will help protect your surroundings, and I suggest you use the included plastic glove to keep your fingers their normal color. After cleaning the heads and refilling the ink tanks I ran a test print, which was perfect.

Almost worked.
Eventhough this product did not completely fix my printer. It was able to clean 4 out of 5 print heads. I guess that last one was too far gone.

This kit worked very well for me.
The cleaning kit worked very well. There was enough cleaning fluid (100 oz) to do all four inkjet nozzles. (Black, Yellow, Magenta, and Blue. (Black uses 40 oz. the other 3 use 20 oz. each. I used the kit on my Canon PIXMA G6020, Wireless, MegaTank, All-in-One Printer. Note: After the removable cartridges are cleaned, reassemble the ink cartridges, in the printer, then wait 24 Hrs., Next, run an ink flush to remove the air pockets that might be left in the ink supply tubes. For more thorough information, see enclosed instructions or search YouTube.

Very effective!
Did the job. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It came with a bunch of connectors that I didn’t need, but I’m sure would be useful for someone that may need it for theirs. It does get messy so make sure you use a plastic bin so that the ink runoff doesn’t stain your stuff. Wear gloves!

It works but…
We had two printers that needed to be cleaned. One printer was the Brother MFC-J835DW and an Epson XP-446. After watching the video on how to clean the printers, both printers printing issue did not resolve. For the Brother, the black ink still would not print. After examining the line, we noticed the black ink was not flowing at all, as if there was no seal allowing the ink to flow through the line. The colored ink flowed freely and printed with no issue. For the Epson, we got it to print but the print head was causing it to smear the colored ink then all of a sudden the printer shut down and would not turn back on. Both printers we have to recycle now. The solution does work, but beware it may not resolve the issue at all. The only way you can fully clean the print head is to remove the print head and flush the fluid through it, if possible. I think the print head was damaged after cleaning it on the Epson printer due to it rubbing against the paper towel, hence the smeared ink when printing. The cost for the actual product is too high. You get everything you need, but the bottle of solution is enough to clean just one printer one time. I would not attempt to clean the printer, but just buy a new one.

Pricey But Pretty Good
This didn't work that well for me on my clogged printhead, but it's not the fault of the product, I think. I took the printhead out and used it when in the sink. A couple nozzles cleared out, while others did not. I even soaked the printhead in an 50-50 alcohol water mixture, and the result was better, but not great. Part of the problem with this kit on my printer was that you had to hold the hose in place with one hand, while holding the printhead with the other, holding the syringe with my 3rd hand, and press the syringe with my 4th. It didn't work that well in this case. I then shopped for a new printhead and found that an actual "Canon" printhead cost more than the printer, so bought a new printer. This printer, when it needs it, has a printhead with little stubs that stick up that I will be able to connect the hose to directly. That's one reason I gave it 4 stars, I think it will work well on the new printer, and therefore on other people's printers as well. I do think it's overpriced, and the small bottle of fluid will often not be enough for clearing a printhead one time, and don't see the fluid for sale separately. But I've kept it and will be using alcohol and water with it for my future needs.
