Does this have badge eyelets as i need the raf one without them for air scouts.

Hi I bought the khaki beret which has the badge eyelet, this is visible in the photo But the photo of the blue beret does not show an eyelet for the badge, I would assume it does not have the eyelet,(but not sure) Hope this helps. x

how does the cap badge fit

Essentially, there are two methods/types. These are: "Standard issue infantry/low-rank NCO" type- which essentially is like a safety pin mechanism. There is also the "NCO/Officer" type, which is essentially a 'slot-in' type of badge. To attach the 'safety pin' type, essentially, as you would with a safety pin, attaching the reinforcing/backing plate to it- no hassle. However, these berets are more designed for the 'officer/NCO' type, which you'll see a vertical-rectangle on the cap itself- essentially create a hold/slot in the top, and 'slot-in' the badge. Securing accordingly with adjusting the metal slip. Done and dusted, fairly easy. For further instructions/diagrams make reference to "Beret badge attachment"- which I'm sure a simple search may warrant some additional understanding.

What size advice for a lady

Essentially the same. Get yourself a measuring-tape and measure your head size/circumference in CM. I personally would advise going 1 or 2 sizes up to cater for shrinkage when shaping the beret. For example, if you measure 56cm, then possibly go for a 57/58cm beret.
