NOW Foods Supplements, Sunflower Lecithin with naturally occurring Phosphatidyl Choline and Other Phosphatides, Powder, 1-Pound

I’ve been using this NOW Foods Sunflower Lecithin powder for a few weeks now, mainly to support digestion and overall wellness. I chose the sunflower version because I wanted to avoid soy, and this has worked well for me. The powder is very fine and blends easily into smoothies, yogurt, or even oatmeal. It has a mild, slightly nutty taste and isn’t overpowering. Once mixed in, I barely notice it. I usually take about a tablespoon a day. I appreciate the simple ingredient profile and the fact that the 1-pound container lasts a long time, which makes it good value. One small thing I wish it included is a scoop. There isn’t one inside, so you’ll need to measure it yourself. Not a big deal, but it would have been convenient. Overall, it’s a straightforward, easy-to-use supplement and a good option if you’re looking for a non-soy lecithin powder to add to your daily routine.

Virtually disappears in oatmeal with the recommended 1-1 1/3 Tablespoon serving size. No odd taste is noticeable unlike other supplements. A little more clumpy of a powder than first thought, but no issue measuring the amount and using as needed.

Very pleased with the quality. I bought this for my neighbor's cats who have hairballs, and my little rescued dog too. Giving each of them 1/4 tsp (600 mg is the dose) 2 times a day with food. Hairballs have grease around them that makes them fat. In the wild, their diet has more fiber so hairballs come out. When you feed convenience food pellets, there is not enough fiber and enzymes to dissolve the grease so it accumulates around the hairball and makes it too fat to eject from mouth or bowels. Lecithin keeps the fat soluble so the hair ball grease melts off and becomes thinner. In the past, my 19 yr old cat Mustafa ejected 3 hairballs each 6 inches long in one evening after just 2 weeks of Lecithin 600 mg 2 x day WITH FOOD. He was so frisky after that, like a kitten! It works. Give for 3-4 weeks twice a day with food. If you have cats, buy it. It works great for humans too at removing cholesterol, weight gain.

I picked up this item mainly to experiment with smoothie texture, and it worked reasonably well for that purpose. Great additive to sauces, soups, and shakes as well! It not only really helps bind oils, but it also helps thicken things too! It has a really great concentrated earthy sunflower flavor. Besides, the possible health benefits. I would recommend this to anyone that cooks anything. Especially with lecithins ability as a binder

Besides the obvious benefit of phosphatidyl choline for brain health and cells, you can use it when making a bulletproof coffee, as it is a fantastic emulsifier, which will bind smoothly your MCT oil or grassfed butter to your coffee (or chocolate).

カプセルに充填しようとパウダーの物を購入しましたが、かなり厳しいことが分かりました。 空気に触れるとすぐに湿気を吸収して粘度が増すので、サラサラパウダーからベタベタした感じになります。 なのでベタベタしてカプセルに入れるのがすごい難しくなります。 ただ、普通に食してもきな粉のような味で美味しかったのでヨーグルトとかと混ぜて食べようかなと思います
