Well built, great set and shipping was fast

I have never been able to knit. I taught myself to crochet years and years ago but could never figure out how to handle two needles at a time! I make hats for my local Chemo Buddies group but it takes a while to crochet up a hat until I found an old knitting loom in some of my mother craft items. I went on you tube and watched a few videos and decided to buy some looms from Amazon. These KB looms sets are awesome and do much better made than the cheaper brands. I saw where some people don’t like them because they don’t have the side peg like the cheaper looms do but I solved that problem by sticking a sticker under one of the pegs to use as a starting point. I actually bought all three sets of KB looms and I’m really enjoying them. I can now whip up hats in no time at all!

KB is nice enough to post the size of the gauge and the actual measurement of the gauge so you know what you’re getting. The other brands don’t do that you have to buy it measure it and then return it if it’s not the right size. Also, these looms actually have the gauge and number of pages printed on the looms so you know without having to remeasure every time you pick up a loom. Other sets I have purchased have different Gauges within the set. These are smooth and feel very durable. They’re more expensive than other looms available however, they’re worth the money. These 5/8 gauge looms are perfect for smaller yarn (#4 or thin #5) for those of us who don’t always want to knit with bulky #6 yarn.

Other large gauge loom sets the biggest loom is usually 3/4" gauge. I wanted a set that was all 5/8" gauge and that's exactly what this is. It's sturdy and very easy to use. I have almost every loom that KB sells. Great products, great prices! I definitely recommend this set.

These things are damn-near perfect to me. The only reason it doesn’t get 5/5 stars is because there’s no anchor peg. Even if you’re not a beginner, you can still appreciate the convenience of an anchor peg on a loom. Regardless, the build is very nice and the extra pegs for replacement is excellent but I can’t imagine how replacing a broken peg would work if the peg snapped in a hole and cannot be grabbed in order to pull it out.

Here are the Pros and cons. Honest thoughts. Pros: + Great quality. + Comes in various sizes. + Many knitting options. + Great gift for knitters. Please make sure this is the loom size you want. I really like this set of knitting looms. It was easy to learn how to use it too but the instructions that came with it didn’t help much. Learned more on Y-tube & bought a book. I was surprised when I found a comparable set at Hobby Lobby for quite a bit cheaper though. You really need to use 2 strands of 4 weight (regular weight) yarn too.

This set is perfect for beginners of any age. I bought it for my student at church and she loves it. The rings are a good quality set with three different sizes. It comes with instructions on how to make scarves and binis. The hats look professional done. I plan on buying one for myself.

Easy to use plenty of free patterns. Very happy. Making heaps of accessories....beanies fingerless gloves etc....my hubby very happy too...

This is a great knitting board. You just need to be mindful about the differences in the thicknesses of branded wools and adapt the pattern accordingly to the items you are knitting.

Habe bereits einige Dinge damit gestrickt. Der große Ring eignet sich super gut für Mützen für größere Köpfe. Die Pens sind sehr stabil und die Wolle lässt sich super darüber "lupfen", da man nirgends hängen bleibt. Bin sehr zufrieden.
