Great build quality. Easy to use and with enthusiast pleasing results.
Probably 2 dozen hours of use so far and very happy. Great build quality and just WORKS. Place it, open it, pull it up and you're ready. Researched many options before making this purchase and confident made the right choice. The scissor back suspension works perfectly and the screen looks great even in a partially lit environment (perfect in a dark room) and if you have a quality projector the image quality is fantastic. Like anything else handle with care. Open and close it with deliberate and careful movement. It has sturdy construction but I can see how rough handling could introduce issues with the suspension backbone, It's also large so know that going in and have a place to keep it stored flat (probably not the easiest thing to transport around without a large vehicle). We use ours at home for a pop up movie theater in the living room and it's perfect for that and we're up and running in minutes, which is great because we have a different screen for the backyard that clips to a frame and needs to be staked and can take considerably longer so this feels like a breeze in comparison. Read a handful of other reviews that had issues with delivery but thankfully we had none. The box is of course awkwardly sized (big) and how your carrier handles it is probably going to be the main factor there. We inspected ours closely and the outer box did suffer a little damage but did its job protecting the contents. The screen itself is well protected by an outer (hard) clamshell case that snaps closed when collapsed and not in use. If you keep it stored safely and flat as intended I'd expect mileage that will last as long as you keep up that level of care. Love this purchase and glad we opted for the larger size of those we were considering. Great product and while the use cases can be many ours is for a high end home theater set up and we're very pleased.

Perfect screen - Exactly what I was hoping for
I am very impressed with this screen. It arrived on time with no damage to the product or the box it was shipped in. The 5 star review comes from: 1.) Ease of use. You just pull the screen up and you're ready to start watching videos. 2.) It effortlessly retracts back down into its own case, and came with its own handy carry bag. 3.) The movies look GREAT on the screen. I was worried about seeing wrinkles on the screen but there aren't any to be seen-looks great! 4.) Other than being 95 inches long, it is easy to carry and transport. 5.) I get the impression that the manufacturer "Elite Screens" cares about their product and its customer. I am quite sure if I had had any problems with their screen, they would have been there to help me out. I definitely recommend this product.

Exactly what I needed for my setup.
84" size. This is exactly what I needed. Easy to set up and put away, no creases. Juristically improved picture from the white wall I was previously using. Additionally the brightness of my projector, the Epson EF12 was improved by using the 84" size, which I calculated using some online estimators. Overall very happy, hoping that the screen holds up for a long time. So far seems sturdy and that it should.

Awesome. Easy. Done.
The hardest part about buying and using this screen was measuring my Chevy Volt to see if it would fit so I could transport it where I needed it (it did). It's also a little tough to wriggle it in and out of the protective bag, but not a huge deal. This screen is not the cheapest you can get, but IMHO you get what you pay for. Not only was it super easy and fast to set up, the coating helped to reveal the image even in a ridiculously well-lighted space. It's clearly very well made. I know hydraulics are not new tech, but everyone was so impressed with how the screen stood up at any height you would think I was showing fire to cavemen. Seriously though, buy the thing.

I'm Not 100% Sure Who to Blame But Yes, I'm Pissed...Sorry, I Mean "Dissatisfied"
I bought an: Elite Screens ezCinema 2, Manual Floor Pull Up with Scissor Backed Projector Screen, 105-inch 4:3, Portable Home Theater Office Classroom Projection Screen with Carrying Bag, F105XWV2 I should say, I purchased this item for a discounted price knowing it was a return. It was described this way: "Condition: Used - Acceptable - Item has major cosmetic damages but is still usable. Large cosmetic imperfection(s) on top, front or sides of item. Item will come in original packaging. Packaging will be damaged." It was immediately obvious it was not salvageable and I was on the phone with Amazon to return it. ++++++++++ It was shipped fast. That is the last positive thing I have to say about my experience. When I received it the box was heavily damaged and one end of it was nothing more than shipping tape keeping the contents inside. When I took it out there was damage to the carrying case but I expected that. I took the screen out of the case and one of the fold out legs stayed there, laying at the bottom of the case. I think I heard it laughing at me because it knew what the rest of the screen's condition was like. But the missing fold out leg? That didn't seem like a big problem. I could work around that. Ah but then I opened the case. I opened the lid and as far as I could tell it looked fine(?) Well, I pulled the handle up and the whole thing essentially blew up. The pieces that were supposed to be connecting the top of the screen to the scissor assembly came off and crashed back into the case. There were pieces point in different directions. I was like W.T.F! It was obvious that this was not how it was supposed to be and after a few seconds it was obvious the damage wasn't just "cosmetic". I called Amazon, made the arrangements to return it, spent a good 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get all the pieces & parts to fit back in the case, boxed it up and took it to the UPS Store it today (the next day). And trust me, I was equally pissed that I was putting ANY effort into returning it when it wasn't in any condition that Amazon should ever have sold it to me in the first place. It was unusable and it was not even a question. I'm not sure if the item I received was a true representation of the quality of these screens or not but judging from the other negative reviews I've read, maybe the original buyer returned it because the scissor system failed on them. Either way I'm pissed. I'm pissed that Amazon sold this item to me. I'm pissed that I wasted my time waiting for this piece of crap to arrive. I'm pissed that it turned out to be such a poor quality product. I'm pissed that I bothered to take the time to return it because some other unsuspecting customer might get the pleasure of this piece of [whatever] showing up in their driveway Of course, that was the only way to get my refund. I do believe that the "Elite Screens ezCinema 2, Manual Floor Pull Up with Scissor Backed Projector Screen, 105-inch 4:3, Portable Home Theater Office Classroom Projection Screen with Carrying Bag, F105XWV2" is the worst Amazon purchase I have ever made. I've lived a long time. I'm quite sure this is in the Top 5 worst purchases I've made in my entire life and that's a mighty long time.

Super stealth and easy to open
Updated review 12/2025: Still works and is mostly holding up. It’s gradually curling more than I feel comfortable with. Seems to provide a decent image with my Epson EF-12. Use it maybe 3-6 times a month on average. I’m noticing some of the components are less robust than I would prefer. A cheap plastic trim piece split and fell off right next to the handle. This stays in one place and doesn’t travel, so was disappointed to see this. It supposedly has a 2-year warranty, and little pieces like this are commonly replaced after warranty for manufacturer goodwill. Well, I wrote the company about it, and their response after clear description of the broken piece as well as several photos was to put the (broken) piece back on the projector screen. 🙄 Don’t know how much longer this screen will hold up, seems the warranty and/or customer service is of low quality. Hopefully my credit card extended warranty will step in if the manufacturer continues to stonewall. Original 5-star review: I was cautious to buy this given some of the 1-stars mentioning failing parts. However, I took a chance and bought it, with an extended warranty. I absolutely hate looking at televisions, especially when they are off. Reminds me of that black obelisk in the movie 2001, imposing and annoying. Sold the TV and bought a small projector I could hide away. I’d rather look at my books. This brings me to the fact my walls are less than perfect for a projector. Bumpy and off white and marks. I decided on buying a screen. Thought about a pulldown, but they could be a pain to mount, and kinda ugly to look at. Decided on a “pull up” version, and this measured out right to the location I wanted it, and was the perfect height. And as you can see by the photo it is very stealth when not in use. Screen pulls up and down easily with a comfy handle, rests at the top with a stop. Mounted a soundbar right on the wall behind it, feels like a movie theatre setup. I may go further and find some small decorative furniture piece to place in front of it to make it even more invisible. But for now I just love how I’ve “killed my TV” but still have the option to watch a movie once in a while or even zone out on YouTube or other streaming sites if the urge hits me. Beautiful picture, no wrinkles I can find, and it sets up and ticks away in seconds. Very happy.

Works better than expected. Highly recommended.
I was a bit skeptical that this 84 inch floor rising screen would work as smoothly as advertised. I have extended the screen multiple times over the last few weeks, and it lifts easily and stays in position at any height. It is stable, doesn't rock back and forth, and is mostly flat across the entire surface (minimal curl at the edges that is not apparent when watching movies). The 1.1 gain screen is bright and 4k video looks stunning. It arrived packed securely, and undamaged. This is my 3rd Elite screen, and they have all exceeded expectations in operation and build quality.

Excellent bright screen if paired with a very good 4K projector. 2 minor flaws
I bought this screen just before FIFA 2022 world cup and I couldn't be more happier seeing the matches on the big screen. I paired it with Benq 4K projector and I have also watched several movies over the holidays including Top Gun Maverick, Jurassic park and Home Alone movies and the colors were lovely. The screen is very sharp and smooth, and renders dark contrast with bright highlights. Overall it is a very good screen but you need to pair it with a very good projector. Standing tall, and if you pull the screen all the way up, the screen maintains its conformity and sturdiness and is very stable. Some tips to keep the screen clean: Try keeping the screen retracted and folded when not in use- Do not go all the way down but just before it hits the end. Also 2 minor flaws: 1. The edges of the screen towards the top tend to sag and folds- would have loved a bit more reinforcement with good quality wires. 2. When you try to close the screen and close the lid of the case, the screen hangs and do not get all the way down. You have to do a little bit of fiddling and back and forth pulling and pushing to make it go all the way to the end.

Quick & Easy Setup!
I ordered this for the portability for making presentations on the road, and it's first class. It opens and stands up with a pull of the handle, and stands tall and straight ... no more fighting with tripod mounts (ugh!). The surface is bright and produces sharp images from my projector, which are easy to see even in rooms where complete darkness isn't possible. Time will tell in regard to durability, but so far this is an excellent purchase.

Great screen with a full metal housing
This ( portable screen is great. Easy to collapse and works wonders with short throw and long throw projectors. Don't use this version if you have a UST projector since its not perfectly straight. You will need the tab tension version 95 inches to have better results. This screen also comes with its own carrying bag. One hand smooth lift operation. Its a must buy for on the go events. Or a NON dedicate home cinema room. Just role it down when not in use.

Qualité!
Je viens de recevoir mon nouvel écran. Fantastique. Je l'utilise avec mon nouveau projecteur LG CineBeam Q. Belle combinaison. C'est mon deuxième écran d'élite. L'autre a 6 ans et fonctionne encore très bien. Je recommande bien sûr les produits d'élite.

It worth the money spent
This is a great projector screen. Super easy to setup and it is very light. Your projector screen is ready to use in less than 1 min!! I got the 84" which is just the perfect size for me. I use this outdoors and it is pretty steady. On some windy days, I hook the corners to a tree or a wall with a rope which provides better stability and just in case. It is a bit pricy comparing with other projector screens but it is totally worth it. I tend to spend much more time sitting in my backyard because of this!
