Perfect cheap starter kit

Seems like a good quality kit. Have stick welded and mig. Thought I would try tig. Got an Arccaptain tig torch. Ordered this kit not realizing they had different size torches. I have the WP-17. That is why I went 4 stars, my fault not theirs. I might be able to use them on something one day. Sure wish they would make universal torches etc or at least make comment about make sure which size you have to help us rookies.

This kit is a perfect fit for the Fronus and Lincoln Electric that I use at school. I really only use sizes 7 and 8, but know that I'll need smaller cups as I progress--especially with fabrication classes coming up. I didn't expect impressive quality for this price, but was completely surprised by it all!

Cheap set but seems to work fine

This kit came with the longer cap which allowed me to use full length tungsten. Realistically, buy it and decide what you like to use the most and just buy that stuff individually.

China made nice assorted set of cups and consumables sized from .040 to 1/8 will get the job done purchased for size 17 torch

These cups are a little thinner than the Miller brand versions, but they are just as functional. However, if you're starting new and not filling in a gap in your equipment like I was, get a set with collets for cups 5,6, and 7, and gas lenses for pyrex size 10 cups. If you can find the Weldtec gas lenses with grooves for the O'rings, the green O'rings will work better on the grooved gas lenses than they do with any of the generic gas lenses you get in these kits. But again, this kit is fine, it's just got too much redundancy.
