These are the only filters to use! The box is huge so it lasts ages long time! I have used the natural colour and the white ones and I prefer the natural colour especially when using with the original chemex. Fits perfectly and is super strong, the filter can handle multiple pours. I’ve tried the washable filters but you don’t get the quality and same slow drip the chemex is designed for so for coffee lovers- and using these filters is the only was to get the perfect cup!

Have always bought these and love them however i was sent the wrong ones - the white Bleached version… so having to go out of my way to return. Hoping when i re-order I get the right ones! 4 star because of the high price increase. I understand a little bit but they have gone up a lot!

These are great and look better than bleached, I’d suggest not to pre rinse with water beforehand because it just tints the brew with random added stagnant water although I do agree it could be good to sort of “wash away a bit of this and that from the factory”. What I would suggest is the following (and before doing so, clairfy with yourself if you have suspicions in processing of paper behind the scenes): 1. Use finest grind as paper removes fines anyway and it doesn’t clog 2. Probably probably don’t pre rinse with water, it just seems to add a random step and a tint of stagnated water 3. ☯️ Use hotter water probably, this does seem to increase extraction and given the bean is roasted above 100 deg c, it seems to make sense to use hotter water, unless you’re roasting in a frying pan with green coffee leaving trace green/super light roast flecks on the bean (although in tea you could say 100 deg c v 93 deg c is pointless as well)

Good coffee filters for the chemex. Does the job well.

Although expensive, the quality is unmatched. Coffee is brewed faster than supermarket variety and therefore is hotter when served, and also very strong filters, so no breakages!
