Festool 203430 Compact Cleaning Set in Systainer

Pricey but works well. If youre complaining its cheaply made and easy to break. The reality is youre handling your tools poorly and perhaps you should take better care of things that are not inexpensive.

AWESOME TOOL BUT VERY PRICEY

You just spent $800 on a dust vac...why are you trying to rationalize this?

Some time ago I bought a more heavy duty shop vacuum, brand Metabo. Unfortunately, it didn’t come with any accessories. More annoying to me was the fact that it wasn’t able to buy any Metabo accessories for this vacuum (ASR35). I searched and looked at any 35mm compatible stuff, such as e.g. from Bosch. Eventually I decided to buy Festool, which are not the cheapest. I’m quite sure that all of this stuff from whatever brand is manufactured by other companies specialized in this. Beside this set I also bought a Festool hose (3m, 27mm) and some other Festool vacuum accessories. Overall I’m happy with all of it and increased the functionality of my shop vac, however, price tag is quite heavy.I like the quality and functionality of the Festool parts. The sustainer size is at the small side, and became too small since I bought additional Festool nozzles. The only criticism would be that the air ‘regulator’ in the angled connection piece between hose and wand opens (gravity) during use and reducing suction force. I typically want full suction all the time and applied tape to keep it closed.3 piece wand: good length, sturdy, light. (Was considering SS version, glad I didn’t)Floor nozzle: nice small for smaller areas and underneath benches etc. I ended up buying their larger floor nozzle as well ($69, not available on Amazon), which works way better for larger area.Long nozzle: good for creases (such as between the seats of my car :))

They are compatible with the vacuum. Just plastic parts.

This set makes an already great vacuum much more versatile - I didn't have a dedicated vacuum attachment for hand power tools in the shop and consequently had a lot of dust and chips every time I fired them up. There are a few tools that don't have a vacuum attachment and this set makes clean up a snap. Being able to use it more as a traditional vacuum is a real bonus, my old shop vac won't get much of a workout now that I have this!

Do a bad thing is their way overpriced

Had to buy the brush separate, fits festool hoses and matches everything else. I got an empty #2 container so there would be more wiggle room inside.
