I had bought other color wheels and returned them because the colors didn't make sense. On these wheels the colors seem to be much more accurate: red + blue is the same color in all three places on the color wheel, for example. The colors are better balanced: the secondary and tertiary colors look much more 'centered' in hue between their parent colors. They are a little flimsy for how large they are, but the plasticized paper is well coated and should be easy to wipe off when I predictably get paint on them. I rate these wheels excellent. This set promised a color mixing guide with the two wheels -- that's a false promise. What accompanies the wheels is a sheet of paper with five definitions on it, each of complementary, analogous, triadic, split complementary, and tetradic. Hardly a color mixing guide. I'd drop my rating down to four stars because of the misleading description except that the wheels are so much better than anything else I've found.

I gave it to a friend who is a potter. It has given him a lot of new ideas about color mixing and matching that he hadn't considered. He's very excited. His mentor is much more sensitive to color and he plans color with his head and not his eyes, so this is a very exciting guide set for him.

Very easy to understand the concept of combining colors in order to mix your own. I relax and have fun with “Pour Painting” but was getting muddy colors. I found out why with this color wheel. Great to have on hand to know what colors go together and are pleasing to look at.

The most accurate and informative color wheel.

I have always loved coloring, especially as an adult. It relaxes me, its my therapy. I caught a YouTube video on how to use the color wheel to enhance the look of your coloring pages so I decided to purchase it. My package came early and was not damaged in shipping. I'm happy with my purchase.

Do yourselves a favor, buy the color wheels separately and save some money. The "quick guide" shown in the product image does not exist. All I got was a piece of paper with five words and their definitions.

This color wheel is great. The colors are bold and the information on the wheel is helpful. I keep the larger size in my quilting studio and carry the smaller size in my purse. It is easy to use and I believe you get good quality and value for the price.

I really love these 2 colour charts. They have made choosing colours for card making and interior design really easy. Just love them and the price was good. Highly recommended.
