Fried and Salted Spanish Marcona Almonds - 1 LB / 453 G

I like them, I don't know why people are giving them such bad reviews. They have a smooth oily surface, and slightly salty. If I could change anything I might add just a touch more salt, but I can do that myself. Other Marcona almonds I've tried always seem to be really dry, these aren't.

The first time I ordered these they were in a heavy plastic vacuum sealed bag and were fresh & tasty. This time they were loose in a very thin plastic bag and rancid. As a consumer I would like to think the product I am ordering would be the same as the time before. Not so for this particular product.

Delish! Love these nuts if you have never tried them, this is a good tasty nut! A bit of Italy & Spain

I had absolutely no idea Marcona almonds existed until by chance I tried them...OMG!!! There is no word, other than "HEAVENLY!" My taste buds melted in sheer pleasure!

I am very frustrated because I bought these to serve at a wedding that I am catering on Saturday. When they arrived last week, the bag was open (cut with a box cutter, it looks like.) There were almonds all over on the inside of the package, which included other items. I tasted one of the almonds that was still in the bag, hoping that I could salvage at least a few of them. It was stale and rancid tasting and the texture was soft. Not at all what I want to serve at a wedding! I asked for a replacement, and was told that the item isn't "eligible" for return. That is unacceptable in my opinion.

These almonds are stale. They are supposed to be salted. These almonds are not salted..I plan on returning the almonds based on poor quality resulting in no value for my money.

Discovered these when reading a food article. Have been buying them ever since.
