This Tool Chest was really well packed, in a strong cardboard box with extra support where required, plus reinforced internal material to prevent damage and as such, it arrived undamaged. This review is for the VonHaus Tool Chest with four rows of drawers and one top compartment. Empty it is quite heavy at 11.5kg and when it is filled, you're probably looking at around 20kg, as such you wouldn't want to carry it too far. Not a problem for me as I do not intend moving it. It is a double-edged sword regarding construction. Whilst it is fit for purpose, the metal used is quite thin and I suspect it would not stand much abuse, mishandling or overloading. That said, if the metal were any thicker, the chest would be even heavier, so it's swings and roundabouts. The Tool Chest looks Really Smart and Professional. It is more than fit for purpose and thus far, I am very pleased! I did lubricate the top lid hinge/support mechanism as it was rather tight and it now operates smoothly. The top compartment is spacious, deep, full depth (front to rear) and the bottom is lined with an anti-slip liner. The lid opens smoothly to 90 degrees and remains open. The top row of drawers are split into three, the lower three drawers are full width. The top three rows are not overly deep but adequate. The bottom drawer is much deeper. All drawers have limited depth (front to rear) in comparison to the top compartment but are more than adequate. All drawers open and close smoothly on bearings, with a slight resistance upon closing/opening and as such, once pushed closed, they remain closed. All drawer bases are fitted with anti-slip liners. For security, or if you choose to move/transport the chest, it comes supplied with two metal bars that fit vertically in front of the drawers via the top compartment and as such, when the lid is closed and locked, all the drawers are secure and cannot be opened. If I have any issues, I’ll amend this review, but thus far, I’m Very Impressed and I Highly Recommend this Tool Chest.

Great tool chest. I got it for on top a a larger drawer set and even though they are from different manufacturers they look good together. It is well made with ball bearing draw rollers. Lock only locks the lid though.

Good solid design with locking functionality. Drawers have runners but are perhaps smaller than they appear in the pictures, but nevertheless a good piece of kit. Its heavy weight makes it chunky so beware when lifting if it’s full of tools. All in all I’d say it’s good value for money…

I have had the vonhous toolbox for a few months now, here is my honest opinion. Over all and for the money the quality is good enough. The lock is not much good, as a result I put 2 shed type locks on it one either side.(With padlocks) As others mentioned it's just a little bit to small in places. An example is the drawers are to small to fit a 19mm spanner in. Larger electrical screwdrivers also won't fit. The draws are also a little shallow. I have no regrets buying it, but. Now wish I went for the larger one. I used it for what it is longer things go in the other draws. When I get time I will take a pic of the toolbox with my tools in it.

Strong enough but draws dont open or close smoothly.

The product is great, cannot fault it but the delivery by Evri was appalling. The driver left it yards from my porch on the grass and in the rain! I saw him doing it on cctv and caught him before he get back into his van. His excuse was he was in a hurry.

Eine m. M. n. hervorragende Werkzeugkiste für den privaten Gebrauch. Ganz besonders gefällt mir die Möglichkeit, die Schubladen durch zwei "Sperrriegel" gegen unbeabsichtigtes Öffnen zu sichern (bspw. beim Transport in einem Fahrzeug) - im beigefügten Bild ist einer der beiden "Sperriegel" eingesetzt. An der Verarbeitung habe ich nichts zu mäkeln ... die Schubladen und die Deckelklappe lassen sich öffen und schließen, die seitlich angebrachten Tragebügel sind i. O. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich ggf. die etwas größere Version kaufen mit 9 Schubladen, da nun doch mehr hinein soll als ursprünglich angedacht ;)

El cajón/organizador esta francamente bien. Las bandejas tienen su corredera metálica y es robusto. Son 3 compartimentos grandes y 3 pequeños, ademas del arcón superior con llave.

Très satisfait de cet achat livré en un temps record - Ce modèle est très pratique avec ses tiroirs permettant le stockage de vis/rondelles/boulons/pointes ...etc Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de petits casiers dans ces tiroirs pour assurer la séparation des différents ingrédients !!! Solution : j'ai placé des tiroirs type Racco qui font très bien l'affaire . attention plusieurs prix suivant les fournisseurs - très content de pouvoir ENFIN ranger mon matériel dans un minimum de place - rien à voir avec les traditionnelles BAO - attention au poids final !!!! on charge, on charge puis ...c'est lourd !!!

Der Topchest ist ein sehr gut gebauter Werkzeugkasten.Ich habe erstmal Einen gekauft um zu sehen wie es passt zu meinen Zweck. Mit dem Gedanken noch 4 Stück zu kaufen. Als ich die vier neu bestellen wollte waren Sie 10 Euro teurer pro Stück. Muss ich mir jetzt gut überlegen ?
