Our timeline starts back at 14 Billion years ago so there was quite a discrepancy with this books timeline and ours but this book did offer some insight and we are grateful for the stickers. There is very little out there for timelines so that is why we are Making our own in a 3 ring binder. Plus it will be a fun keepsake as it will be completed over several years schooling as we move thru the education of the years, from 14 Billion years ago to present. A lot of timelines omit the ancient peoples of the earth which are more recently being discovered via DNA mapping and also scientific discoveries dating ancient humans to much earlier than previously taught. Thank you for the great stickers! They will be placed along our hand drawings.

Useful visual
Timeline was ok, didn’t use it though. But did use the stickers (loved them) for our own timeline. Love that the timeline clearly shows the concurrent major events across the globe, history is taught so linear, it’s hard for someone to grasp the magnitude for growth but seeing it in pictures is so impactful. Just didn’t like how the timeline started each continent at a differing time, like there wasn’t civilization and peoples on Sub-Saharan Africa prior to 550AD,

A wonderful collection of historical events. Great spring board for inspiring deeper investigation.

Great resource for homeschooling. I used it with a 7,9 and 11 year old and we gradually walked through the historical timeline together. It gives you a great visual of historical events and you can stop and research certain ones more in depth. It took us a few months to finish the timeline. Would definitely recommend!
