Original Cookie Mix

I've baked many gluten-free cookie mixes from other companies, and this was my first time trying this one. I made chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies with a white honey glaze. I was really surprised, both turned out delicious, and not just by gluten-free standards. This was the first mix I've tried from any company where the cookies actually look AND taste like traditional cookies made with gluten. I will be ordering these again, and again!

I rarely write reviews but these cookies are fantastic. Easy to follow instructions, perfectly textured dough, phenomenal taste and the absolute best mix of not too crunchy/ not too chewy. Just an all around delicious cookie.I had to make cookies for work and as a celiac, my options were limited. But I gave these a shot and will absolutely be buying again.I refrigerated overnight, as suggested, and I truly think it made a difference. Even in my pre-celiac days, I’ve never tasted a better cut out sugar cookie!! I have a 5yo little boy and he’s excited to decorate cookies with mama now!!

These are my favorite GF and top Allergy safe Chocolate chip cookies. They are flaky and airy. Yummy!

Better than any regular sugar cookie and they are allergen free. My kids are allergic to the too 9 allergens making baked goods nearly impossible to have and I have tried so many brands of allergy free premade cookies that my kids wouldn’t eat. Like in the ingredient suggestions, I used applesauce in place of eggs, refined coconut oil in place of butter and rice milk making them allergy free. These cookies had no weird chemical taste, no typical gluten free product taste, no odd crumbly or chewy texture. Just really really good cookies! My kids enjoyed making and eating them and I have to try not to steal them! I can’t believe how on point they are.

Wasn't sure til I baked another dozen of these. BAKING TIME IS WRONG ON PACKAGE!! I have a normal electric oven, just baked another dozen couple days ago, cooking time is 15 MINUTES - NOT 8-10!! That's a big difference for simple cookies. Other than that, yes they are just fine. Why only 4 stars? Unless you're adding 2 CUPS of additional ingredients, even then there's No Way this entire mix is making 40-50 cookies, that's hilarious! Additives, you're looking at 36 probably at most. I just add lemon powder, so entire mix made 2 DOZEN, 24, that's it. So I'm off to find GF mix that'll make at least 36, yeah, that'll do.

This product did not come together easily. The directions do not state that you need to add the whole package to the recipe on back, but since it didn't say we figured that must be what it means. (Often a recipe on the back of a package may call for 1 cup, for example) The amount of water needing to be added must be dependent on humidity. We kept mixing and ended up adding enough water that we had to sprinkle/dust with a bit more GF flour. In the end, these tasted like an OK GF graham cracker, it was very crispy. That is technically what it is. The gingerbread flavor is nice, and it covers the rice flour flavor well. Something to note, you must add pumpkin pie spice mix, and for gingerbread flavor, we added half honey and half molasses to our liquid, it recommended either).
