The Nylon Curtain

I first listened to this album over 30yrs ago on casette tape, couldn't remember the name of it but found it again on good old amazon! I am loving it all over again, such an awesome album. Delivery time amazing

One of my favourite albums from Joel. It didn't sell too well in the UK which to me is a mystery. This a powerful set with an angry feel about it, containing songs about subjects such as Vietnam, unemployment and the pressure of modern living. 'Allentown' and 'Pressure' are just brilliant pieces of work.

Not quite the impact of his older music, but creative and still thought provoking. Not quite as far down the slope as the Chrissy Brinkley years and the real pop stuff. But if you are a fan, and you feel the greatest hits albums are still missing a few of the songs you want from this album, why not add it to the collection.

If you know Billy Joel you'll love this. Not as good as The Stranger which is still my favorite of his albums - But very good.

Another great album from Joel...a must have for collectors of Joel's music...you won't be disappointed with the range of songs on this album
