Sage Soft Top Luxe, Quiet Electric Kettle, Black Truffle

Look, let me tell you, The Sage Soft Top Luxe Kettle is a fantastic piece of equipment. It's got a great design - very modern, very sleek, and let me tell you, it looks tremendous in any kitchen. And it's not just looks - this kettle is built to last. You can tell just by picking it up - it's got a solid weight to it that screams quality. But what really sets this kettle apart is how quiet it is. Believe me, I've had my share of loud kettles, but this one? So quiet, you won't even know it's on. And that's important, folks. You don't want to wake up the whole house just because you're making yourself a cup of tea. But it's not just quiet - it's also very practical. With a capacity of 1.7 liters, you can make plenty of tea or coffee at once. The water heats up quickly, and there's a window on the side that lets you keep an eye on the water level. And the best part? The base is cordless. That's right, you can take the kettle anywhere you want without having to worry about cords getting in the way. So listen, I highly recommend The Sage Soft Top Luxe Kettle. It's a bit more expensive than some other kettles, but believe me, it's worth it. It's a winner. A real winner. It's stylish, it's well-built, it's quiet, and it's practical. Believe me, folks, you're gonna love it.

I bought this kettle just before Christmas, so have had the opportunity to use it now for a while. I'm really impressed. It is a really well made and well finished product. It boils more quickly than my old one did. It is slightly heavier than my previous kettle. but I rarely fill it completely,, so this isn't an issue and I'd rather have a more solid, rather than flimsy, kettle. I like the 'ping' that it gives when it's finished boiling. It looks real stylish and I would definitely recommend this product. In fact we like it so much that I recently bought another Sage kettle in a different finish for my son.

Excellent buy

After plenty of research as lockdown leaves little else to do, I purchased this Sage kettle and it's pretty much perfect. Loving the soft open lid, not too loud and looks very slick. The only downside as other reviewers have mentioned is that you cannot see the water level. The side indicator is very dark, odd choice to make during the design, hence 4 stars. It doesn't bother me overall.

I love the kettle. The only thing I find is it’s quite heavy. Its very solid and well made.

It's a beautiful tea kettle however there are two major issues: it's very slow to boil water and it's nearly impossible to see water level unless you open the top.

I will admit, I like Sage products, I already have multiple ones but this is because like this kettle you can feel the quality of the product and and the after sales support is brilliant. People have noted that it can be difficult to see the level of the water in the gauge and whilst this can be true I simply lift the lid. Be warned though, it is quite noisy which was a bit of a surprise but the quality out weighs this as I would rather have a loud kettle that lasted years rather than a quiet one that lasted months.

This is a quality kettle really lovely to look at - it is quite heavy though - unfortunately I had to send it back as I had a problem with the matching toaster. Did not use it so cannot comment on anything else but looks!

Elegant model, high quality but a bit heavy.
