The draft fan to chimney gasket on my Avalon pellet stove failed. I was "upset" when the dealer said 2 weeks and $45. MN just legalized THC and he must partake. I chanced it and ordered this up. So happy, it was just like the old material. In under 5 minutes I had a perfect copy of the gasket and was putting my stove back together. Works perfect and should last a few years (I have to take this junction apart 2x a year for chimney cleaning). I'll be happy to buy it again when needed, there is enough room to make 2 of the gaskets I needed this time. If I need to make a draft fan motor gasket I would get one, but that is $52 and a wait again.

We have a forced air wood furnace (Longwood MK VII dual-fuel) that the ash removal door needed the gasket replacing again- being the rope gasket version that does not seal well and is not at all like the original gasket. The original gasket was white, thin, flexible, and worked great... but was asbestos. Finding this listing was wonderful and these sheets are similar in every way where it counts - sealing the whole door - not just around the edges. Easy to cut with a utility knife, the size we needed used up only 1/3 sheet ( the package comes with 4 sheets. No other option to get less sheets.) Looks like we will be all set with gasket material for quite a while. Worth it for the great seal.

Bought this as a economical replacement for the HIGH Prices precut stove gasket. I can make several more later on with the extra sheets in the package. Wish they sold them in a 2 pack.. seems like good quality. Just trace the shape, cut with scissors or razor knife.. Just installed it so we'll see how long it lasts..
