DOCA Camera Pole Extension Pole for GoPro, Provides Reach for Aerial Photography and Videography - 6-24 Ft with Adapter

PRO: Been using for 2 years for roof inspections. Stout, well made. Easy to extend and retract once you ensure each clamp screw is adjusted properly (not to tight or to loose). Use thread lock or add lock washer to maintain screw adjustment. I clamped (not too tight) a tablet holder to the base section to control the camera via wifi connection. Works for me. CON: *The foam hand grip could be better but ok for my part-time usage. Still ok after 2 years * Last extension to 24ft can be wobbly depending on camera weight. Rest base on the ground for stability * A big informational sticker was stuck to the pole near the foam hand grip. You have a sticky mess to clean up if you remove the sticker. A printed cardboard sleeve would be much cheaper to manufacture and recyclable.

I am a home inspector and needed a telescoping pole to use for taking photos of rooftops with a wifi-enabled camera connected to my iPhone. After searching, I decided to give this one a try. The quality of the DocaPole is much better than I had expected for what I paid for it. It stows nicely in my car, one end nudged between the center arm rest and front seat, and the other through the rear seat trunk access. I highly recommend it. Of course, it is aluminum, so much care must be taken to avoid proximity to power lines.

this item is garbage If you put the screw end in the position as in the photo they advertize with, you cant tighten down enough to hold that position the only area you can use on it is slide thru the slot on the side. only spot that tightens. Please dont waste your money on this product.

I'm planning to use it for a smaller 8.5-ounce camcorder. I don't know that I will trust the pole with the camera at the highest extension, I will be especially cautious unless I am looking to give someone motion sickness. But the extension of the first two, thickest pole sections should give me enough height to film.

Great buy. I needed this for work and used it on a few jobs this week. Sturdy, lightweight, easy to use. Able to get those elevated camera shots without ease. Thanks

Good pole, appears sturdy however I would limit the load at full extension to a very small camera, think go- pro size. If I had to buy again I would go with a 24 foot pole.

Some of the segments barely stay in positions, others stick so that even with significant force they are hard to move. The resulting pole is frustratingly unstable - even with just a small phone attached at the end. Definitely terrible value for money. If you need to be able to view the solar panels on your roof and or get a visual on something else that's too high for a simple ladder, it sorta does its job (which is why I didn't send it back), but frankly this was a major disappointment.

The easy lock mechanisms make this pole much better to use than any other I have seen. Easy to use and very sturdy.

Very solid, excellent quality, help us saving our drone on the roof!
