Pete the Cat's Giant Groovy Book: A Story Collection of Adventures for Children (Ages 4–8) (My First I Can Read)

Great book for Pete the Cat enthusiasts.

I’m sure it will be great for beginning readers however in making the language easy to read, it kinda loses the Pete the Cat flair that we all love so much. We got it for our preschooler and he loves the Sir Pete story and likes several others too. All in all, a good value, and likely will come in more handy for a reading child.

Like others have said, the absence of Eric Litwin is keenly felt here. It’s not a bad book at all, but if you expect the “Rocking in my ___ shoes” Pete The Cat, you’ll be disappointed.

I loved this book. It contains a bunch of Pete the Cat stories and came in hardcover so it's sturdy for little hands. If you are looking for a Pete the Cat book for your little one or as a gift THIS is the one to get!

My kids love Pete the Cat and I love that there are 9 books in one. The kids can easily pick a book from the back cover it also makes it easy to keep the books more organized than the individual books.

My 2 year old and 6 year old love this book. It is funny and has lots of fun art work. All the stories are great. My kids are Pete the Cat fans. My 6 year old is learning to read and this book is really good practice for him heading into 1st grade. I will buy another to add to their collection. It's good that this is just one book with several stories.

My son loves Pete the Cat. I wanted to get him a book with multiple stories/books. I looked at several on Amazon before purchasing this one. Love the hardcover and size. The stories are good too! The paper has a strong smell that I thought would go away but the smell is still pretty strong.

Peté the cat stories are great, but this book comes in a smaller size almost A5. I expected the big A4 usual format.

Great set for kids working theor way up the skills level of reading. Plus, Pete the cat is a cool cat and we love him!

The book is nice, my 6 years old daughter loves it. She is learning to read and gets very involved with the stories. She already finished the book, but still wants to read it again and again. Super recommend. She is in phonics level 4/6 and can read most of the words by herself. Super recommend for younger readers.
