Pros: Light weight, easy dis/assembly, comfortable enough seat, adjustable height, stable* Cons: No easy way pack to transport, seat pops after a while*, rusts inside frame pipes, adjustment spring-action button can slip inside pipe and be hard to get back into place. Mixed: Will & Won't fit over some toilets. Learned this at lodgings where grab bars aren't provided. Was able to set it up over the motel toilet-kinda. It was better than nothing but I'm shopping foldable rail frames now. So now I'll attempt to explain the asterisk. Stability is critical and this product does a great job except… imagine you're seated for some random length of time when POP, the seat snaps down into a new position by pushing the pot down into the frame! So far the pot hasn't fallen out but it can be close to falling through after the POP! Considerably worse, nervous persons, especially those with dimished capacity, can react strongly and inappropriately. For the price and strength: 5 stars. For the disconcerting POP!: Depends on the occupant.

Very sturdy not cheaply made at all. Good instructions for easy assembly. Price appropriate. Functional. Did not end up using the liners.

I'm small and this is very, very large. I got blue. It's beautiful If you're a wide person, this is very wide. Adjust height. Thick seat is nice. Came w some plastic liners. Bucket has lid

Nice and sturdy. Just wish the bowl was a little more elongated to accommodate urinating while on the commode better.

I purchased the Carex 3-in-1 Bedside Commode for my mom, and it has been such a blessing. It’s sturdy, safe, and very easy to assemble. I love that it can be used as a bedside commode, raised toilet seat, or over-the-toilet safety frame—it gives her both comfort and independence. The seat is comfortable, easy to clean, and the overall design feels very secure. This product has truly made caregiving much easier for us. Highly recommend!

I have other Carex item. A trusted brand for me. This was easy to assemble and adjust. Bedside commode, shower chair, can be placed over a regular toilet , folds for easy transport. The price is very low considering quality and versatility. Highly recommend it.

Easy to assemble, fairly light weight but sturdy and a good price.

Did what needed it for after foot surgery. But it did seem like it was a bit wobbly. For a senior as a bedside commode not sure.

I love the sturdiness & aesthetic look of this commode (as "nice" as a commode can look), Although I don't know how it would fit a 300 pound person as I am 200 pounds and it is a little bit tight fit to sit on. I wish there was an option to buy the Commode liners in this brand on Amazon Canada because they are fantastic and hold twice as much as all the other ones I can find on Amazon (plus no odour after use even when left in a garbage can in the room for almost a week)... most only hold 1000 ml (which is basically two uses since a full bladder is 500 to 700 mils) where the Sample liner that came with it holds twice that amount at 2 quarts (basically 4 full bladders). It did have a little pamphlet in the box showing that I could buy the liners via mail order, but want me to send a cheque (huh?!!!) and is in the USA so I don't know if they would ship here anyway. I was also disappointed that the clip on toilet paper holder didn't come with it... I don't know if I can buy the separately, but very disappointed that it wasn't included in my box. I should've suspected it wouldn't be because of several other reviews, but not really good of the company not to include what they say is going to be included in so many Customer orders. Overall… I am happy with it and would Recommended to someone looking for a commode. It is a pretty decent deal/price.

Excellent quality for price. Bought this for 200 pound mother who is unstable on her feet and she loves it. I tried it it is great.

As aeesthetically pleasing as these things get. Blue-gray is nice. As others have noted, it wobbles. I do not think how much a person weighs has any bearing on the wobble. Caused by the design of sticking the legs to the unit to put it together. The click feature holds the legs in but they are not tight in the tubing. Thus the wobble. Problem is not specific to this brand. All constructed the same way. Bought this model partially because it folds. It does fold but it is not something that you do quickly to hide it away if you have guests. Folding feature is primarily for long term storage. The pot has a carry handle. Nice. The way the pot sits on the frame works but makes you wonder if any amount of shifting will cause it to fall through to the floor.

Returned. Can’t assemble due to the poor quality parts.
