Creative Co-Op Country Stoneware Butter Dish with "Spread the Love" Message and Farm Landscape Design, White and Black

I hesitated to purchase because I thought it wasn’t going to be worth the money. But I’m so glad I did. It’s the perfect replacement purchase. This is one of the few butter dishes that is actually a dish with a lid. Most others are just a plate so when you put the lid on it’s gets butter all over it. The dish itself is a good weight - thick and sturdy. It has a great lid that fits over the top of the dish. It easily holds two sticks of butter. Love the quality and design. The dish it sits on is not included but a great fit to rest the butter dish on.

I go through a lot of butter, so when I saw this country style butter dish at a friend's house, I knew that I wanted one, too. She didn't mind. Haha! I live in the US and I use the typical long sticks of butter. I can fit four sticks into this butter dish, or I can fit in one large cube from Costco. Either way it works well. This much butter at once does fill it up, but if I'm somewhat careful I am able to put the lid on without getting it smeared in butter. I like to keep the lid clean if I can, and it's worked out very well. The dish is fairly heavy, pretty thick and sturdy. The lid, too. It is not flimsy by any means, thick enough that it wouldn't break very easily. It is glass wear just not as fragile as some items are. I would absolutely think that it should be fine in a dishwasher, although I wash mine by hand since I want to put another butter cube into it right away. After sitting out overnight the butter is at room temperature. I always keep my butter dish on the counter, I don't refrigerate as the butter is protected inside this dish and stays fresh until it's been used up (maybe a week or two for me.) The knob on top is a bit on the small side, but it is usable. Would have been more comfortable and easy to grip if it had been just slightly bigger. I would have liked it even better had the color been a brighter white. Instead it is a bit of a darker white, almost a gray or beige tint to it. The pictures on Amazon makes it look a bit whiter than it actually is. It is still pretty though, but it is definitely not fully white. There are many whites out there, but most white dishes are far more white than this one is. I like it enough overall to not want to remove any stars.

I'm so super picky and I'll admit, I've been looking for the perfect butter dish for years now 😂 First of all, this is so cute. I love the dairy cow, the barn, the 2 flowers that remind me of my favorite, amd the saying on the side, "Spread the Love" ! I like that it has a lid with a nob on the top, that way I'm not trying to pick it up and put the lid back on with buttery fingers, never fails - I'm a mess. && I love that it holds the butter rather than just setting it on a flat dish like the old one Mema used to have. The color is a creamy color which I love, not too white but not too tan or yellow. It's a pretty decent sized butter dish. I'd say it fits about 2 sticks of butter. The paper that came with it stated that each butter dish is hand made, therefore they all have their own ✨️uniqueness✨️ so they'll all be slightly different in their own little way, but it's still the same as the pictures! It doesn't have a seal I'd that's what you're lookin for. We go through enough butter to not need a seal on our lid hahah. Everything this butterdish is, is everything I wanted!🥰

I should have read the product details a little better. This holds two sticks of butter. I needed one that only holds one stick that would have been smaller. It is great if you want to store two.

This is literally the CUTEST butter dish I’ve ever had!! And at such a reasonable price. I looked thru dozens of “same-y” butter dishes, and this gem popped up! Also packaged very nicely to eliminate the chance of a break! For added joy, it can hold two sticks of butter!

This is a good quality butter dish. This dish is thick and not cheaply made it is so cute

First let me say that I am not Canadian, and have never understood the one pound butter block. Why not 4 marked and measured sticks in a box? Seems so simple. Well, since I spend 6 months a year in Canada, I have to compromise. I found this really, really cute butter dish. It is perfect for the pound block of butter. I now save my stick butter for baking (since I hate weighing butter), and use this perfect butter dish on the table. I consider it a great compromise!

Absolutely love it. A great item for any kitchen. Was unsure about buying it due to the price, but glad I spent the extra on it. A block of butter fits in nicely. Would definitely recommend :)

I love this Butter dish it is fantastic just what I was looking for and a bit more actually as it is a good generous size enough for a large butter square. It is solid and easy to handle and importantly can go in the dishwasher. I have had several compliments on this product.
