3M Aura Disposable Respirator, FFP2, Valved, 9322+, EN safety certified

I didn't think this style would be much use... how wrong I was. These are great. I love the way the embedded easy bend and very comfortable metal strip can be moulded to one's nose. And our noses are all different aren't they. I've already bought more of these. Well done 3M.

These masks are very well designed. There is a proper sealing section around the chin as well as around the nose. They would mould very well to fit many faces. I bet not many standard-sized people would fail a fail a fit test in these. I’ve shared them around with a few others and we all agree the fit is excellent, therefore providing excellent protection. These do look a little funny but I am very pleased with them because I wanted a good fit with a high-spec mask and that’s exactly what these are. They also really check out for authenticity, having read around this subject, I would definitely highly recommend them.

These are perfect if you wear hearing aids together with glasses. Just be careful when putting on. Standard surgical masks are not so good. Funny how price has crashed. I can get 20 for similar price as 3 a year or so ago. Free market enterprise. Grab profits while you can.

First question of course, as these real or fake masks? Based on a close inspection, I'd say very likely are real. In use, I found they gave a close fit, necessary for to meet target reduction for FFP2 respirators. The masks unfolds to be quite 'boxy' on the face, but this is no bad thing. Also the valve worked to stop eyewear misting up, which is positive. In theory single use, but I expect people will use FFP2 respirators to protect against aerosol particles and COVID19 although these masks are only officially rated for dust and vapour. If you only wear to go to shops etc. you could hang these up to dry out, killing viral particles in 48 hours. Certainly at the price point, I don't expect many people will bin them after single use! Uses with a face shield, probably as good a protection as you can get without going to FFP3 full-face respirator.

This is my go-to N95 face mask. This valved type is more comfortable than the unvalved ones that I have tried. Do note that there are some places (some airlines) that do not allow valved masks (which I can never understand because they allow the use of the flimsy surgical masks). These 3M Aura masks are packed individually. The previous set I ordered came in the original box but the latest ones did not -- still, at least, they were individually wrapped in plastic. It being a 3M product felt reassuring, ie I knew that it was a proper N95/FFP2 mask and not a fake. It can be fiddly to use because you have to put the straps over your head -- but I like it that way because the masks that you loop around the ears make my ears hurt even after just a few minutes of use.

Have had to spend a lot of time cleaning up a filthy, dusty loft, after having a new roof put on. I had tried using a cheap cup-shaped face mask of the type you get in DIY stores, but found it very uncomfortable as it kept riding up and poking into my eyes and generally moving around, so I ended up taking it off as it was so annoying. I then managed to get a set of 3 of these from a DIY store, but with both me & OH using them we soon needed more. However the DIY place was no longer stocking them so I was pleased to find them on Amazon. They do cost more than the cup-shape masks but are worth every penny because I can actually wear them without any discomfort and they stay in place. They also fit both me (small head) and husband (big head!). If you want something comfortable and easy to put on, I would recommend these.

<Commentaire Requis par J.O. Franc>. Pour commencer, avant de me servir du premier masque réutilisable, j' ai bien suivi la notice détaillée pour le positionner sur le nez et la bouche. Première règle à respecter, ne pas avoir de barbe ,et,être rasé de frais et ensuite, s' en servir. IL s' adapte parfaitement sur le nez et la bouche, et protège très bien des poussières très fines ,comme le talc et autre. N' est pas prévu pour protéger des odeurs chimiques en usine, mais réduit les odeurs de peintures qui ne sont pas à base d'eau ,et,je m' en suis servi également pour appliquer sur les tuyaux en P.V.C. pour le décapant liquide et la colle, et les emboîter. Donc moins d' odeur pour les poumons. Dans certains commentaires, sur le site >AMAZON> précisent "trop petits pour le visage" mais, je pense qu' ils les ont pas très bien positionnés, ou un visage imposant. En tout cas, moi, Je suis très satisfait du premier masque employé, donc avis favorable <Cinq étoiles sur Cinq>, et si vous avez un visage correct, je les conseille.

Senza mascherina mi cola il naso, i bronchi si riempiono di muchi e tossisco in continuazione. Rimane funzionale molto più a lungo di quanto è previsto dalle specifiche. La valvola impedisce la condensa sugli occhiali, tanto che per il covid preferisco usare questa con sopra la mascherina chirurgica (a protezione del prossimo) per mantenere le lenti libere dalla condensa.

Un po' costosa ma ne vale la pena.
