Can you really move around in vr?

Yes. I had the extreme please to try this out at Star Wars Celebration 2019. You need a fair amount of clear space. When you put on the headset you can see everything around you like it is on a tv. You set up a safe zone(circle). If you walk outside the circle it goes blank to warn you to back up.  I really really want this device is is awesome. If you have to move in a direction for an extended period of time I'd assume you would have to use directional game control. But the bottom line is you can move around within the environment.

Do you need a pc to use it or will downloading games happen within thd headset itself?

Oculus Quest is a stand-alone headset, so no PC is required. You will need a smartphone for the initial setup, but afterwards you can buy and download games directly on the headset itself.

How many can you have in one space active at a time?

Right now there aren't any apps for the consumer Oculus Quest that support multiplayer in a single physical space. Two people can use two devices in the same space but it isn't safe - nothing will prevent them from blindly colliding with each other. There are online multiplayer apps which allow two people in difference/separate spaces to be together in the same *virtual* space.

yes. i used to own one of these and im currently looking for another vr headset, because i regret selling my old one, but now the quest 2 is out. i connected to my laptop using wifi, but there are important specs u need, like having a 5g wifi connection, and also buying an app on oculus called virtual desktop. theres also another app neccesary but if i remember right, it is free, and goes on your pc. it worked grea for me and i never even had to move my laptop. a great advantage of using steamvr is you keep those games regardless of weather u sell your device or not. i own borderlands 2 vr, skyrimvr, saints and sinners, all on steam vr and played them on this very headset
