Works better than my corded drill
Power from the 2x 18V batteries is better than my corded SDS drill. It’s super convenient, very powerful, and more compact than my rear handled corded version. Battery life also seems excellent Very happy. My only potential complaint is that its somewhat heavy with two batteries. But ultimately, its not really an issue.

Awesome upgrade!
Came with a Makita rag, bottle of Makita grease, and battery protector covers. Awesome purchase, the tool is very strong. An upgrade form the old version and especially the speed dial can be utilized depending on what your working on

Drill holes FAST
I had to install several hundred 1/2" X 5" anchor bolts and this Makita hammer drill drilled them all in a day! Amazing drilling power!

Is not as heavy as people think it is when loaded with both batteries.
The power is definitely there. I used this tool with a 1ft long by 3/4 masonry bit to pre-drill holes for camera install.
