All the main pieces, (mics, stands, booms, etc) are packaged in bubble-wrap sleeves inside cardboard boxes. I have purchased two sets of these over the last ten years (for two different stage set-ups), and have gotten very good performance out of them. The mics are far better than their price would indicate.
