Seems to work, don't use without a load
Seems to be working after my first test. However, they weren't kidding that you should not have it attached to input power without a load. I let it set for a minute or two before checking the voltage again, nothing was connected to the output power, and placing the multimeter probes on the output leads burned it up.

Very small and works great.
Product works great. I was able to regulate 12V to 3.3V. The product was missing any type of footprint dimensions. I've included picture of the footprint with pin spacing dimensions which seems to work for PCB design.

Used these to power an Apple TV from 12V.
I used these to modify an Apple TV to work from a cigarette lighter without using an inverter. Have had them installed for about 3 months and the Apple TV is working great. the adjustments on them are very small so you have to be careful when turning with a tiny screwdriver.

Cheap Chinese Junk
I bought this to repair a BMW led tail light. (The leds run on ~3.8V) It barely works, if at all. The voltage adjuster seems to be iffy. In testing, I had 4 volts with the adjuster turned all the way down, which should have been .8 volts. However, when I put the tail light back on the car, the voltage did drop. After turning it back up, it worked. It was a little flickery though. After a few days, it was was flickering severely. Off more than on. Upon inspection, it was arcing everywhere! So I replaced it with the second one from the pack. It worked great on the test bench, but not at all on the car. All it does now is get hot. Very hot. With 0.02V output. I should've known better than to get PWM regulator!

Glad they come in pairs
I'm not sure if I damaged one, but only one of the two boards can be adjusted but the trip pot. Luckily I only need one for my project. It's also disappointing that there are no mounting holes. I thought maybe I could rig something using the power connector holes, but they done seem to be laid out consistently at 0.1" spacing.

Works fine so far
Using to drop 12v to 5v for a water valve for misting system. So, ESP866 (D1 mini) on ESPhome for Home Assistant. 12v Solenoid Valve for 1/4" water valve. 3d printer box for electronics and box is inside house. Water valve mounted in wall outside. Added a Shelley button (awesome) so...one press turns on misters for 15 mins. HA shuts it off. Double press to toggle on off. These buck converters make it easy. The original design for this rig (can't remember where I got the design plan) had a 12v ps and 5v. One for micro controller and one for valve. Buck converter drops to 5v for the D1 mini and works great. Love these smaller bucks too.

Useful as a motor speed control
Works great. Desoldered the little pot from the board and soldered wires attached to a 250k ohm linear guitar amp pot to use this as a speed control. Works perfect. Now I can adjust the motorโs speed using the big pot mounted in a panel instead of trying to turn that micro pot and likely tearing it up.

Great for model railroad.
Used these to step-down voltage to power LED signs. Easy to adjust output voltage, and seems stable.
