Are these suitable for range shooting?

Yes, at 32 decibel reduction you should be able you use for shooting. Make sure you wait for the period of time it takes for the foam to expand inside your ear and contort. Normal range over the ear muffs are rated usually at 28 decibel reduction. These are past that. I know some shooters use both a foam fit inner ear plugs and over the ear muffs for a very reduced noise level.

Can children over 5yrs wear these?
