Blackbeard for Men Instant Beard Color, Brown/Auburn, 1 Pack

This stuff is pretty amazing in that it is so easy and effective. It literally takes me about 60 seconds, if that, to do my large handlebar mustache and sideburns. It wears/washes off in a few days but the supply should last a very long time. I don't want a super dark look so I lightly touch the brush to a couple spots then kind of mess my mustache up and it spreads, magically darkening the whole thing, just like that, without a mess. Awesome!

Works well. Coverage is good. Less is more for a natural look.

I used the brown/auburn because my facial hair comes in way lighter than my head hair and eyebrows and wanted to see how it’d look. I have extremely sensitive skin, so the Just For Men stuff is a no go. Overall I think a shade or two lighter would be ideal for me, and would recommend Blackbeard for add a light brown. I also found this washes off pretty easily in the shower despite claims it doesn’t. Overall works very well and I’ll take brushing this in my mustache (or beard when I have one) every morning vs. the risks of allergic reactions or skin irritation from other dyes out there.

This is the first beard color I've tried and I'm impressed. It covers well, looks natural, is easy to apply, doesn't make a mess, and doesn't come off onto your hands after you let it try. I tend to touch my beard throughout the day. It will fade a bit where you tend to touch it, but it won't leave color on your hands.

First negative: I dropped mine ~ 3’ on the linoleum B as thrown floor after first use and it broke open, the screw top busted off inside the cover. So not sure how I’m going to continue to use this, as I’m sure it will dry out very quickly. Second negative: you don’t get a lot. But it does seem like you should be using this sparingly; a little seems to go a long way. Third negative: color options are limited. I the lightest color available is still pretty dark. A light brown and/blond color would be welcomed. Fourth negative: feels “gunky”. Is that a word? I only got one use out of mine so cannot practice to see if I over did it the first time but I suspect that the hair will feel unnatural no matter the amount used. All that said, I was surprised with how good of a job small little strokes of this stuff did covering up the gray. I thought the results were very natural looking from more than a couple feet away, closer it looked like ... something was going on. Note they the brown/Auburn that I got seemed a bit red and sometimes even pinkish in various light, but I don't think that would be noticeable if my wife wasn’t looking so closely, checking it out. Final note a shower with a few times of shampoo and through cleaning with fingers washed it all out no problem. Wasn’t easy but it did come out with some minor effort. All in all I’d say the concept and product is good but I think a bit more quality of a bottle and an additional color or two would help this product along.

First of all its just a thick ceramic tube encasing another thinner tube just wide enough to hold the mascara brush that extends from the cap of the tube. So there's only enough product for one and a half skimpily applied applications. As another reviewer stated the stuff is nothing more than mascara. It is not very subtle at all. When you apply it it makes you look like you're wearing clown makeup. And it comes off very easily under your fingernails and on your bed sheets or whatever. It doesn't even last for a day. On top of it all the pkg said brown but the tube itself said black.

52. I’m not ready for the grey. Tried all the dyes. The smell. The mess. No thanks. Came across this. Read other reviews. There is a truck to this. Put in on. The take a beard brush and brush the entire area. This will even it out Then apply moisturizing beard balm It’s not permanent. So if you go to gym and sweat. It will come off on your towel. It’s not gonna drip down your neck or shirt. It sticks pretty good. It really doesn’t come off on my pillow case. Good stuff.

Used Just for Men until it burned my face off like the end scene of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Been using this for a month and the auburn color blends well, it's easy to apply, and stays on even through karate class. Tips: Make sure to dab the point on a napkin once, lightly brush the same areas 2-3 times and hold the stick parallel to the planes of the face. It's great for quarter-inch stubble.

By far the best yet. I’ve got dark brown head hair and a slightly ginger beard, so this product turns it lovely dark brown . It didn’t even come off in the shower when I washed my beard . Just top it up when it starts to fade . Mine lasted for two days before reapplying just a little . It doesn’t smudge or come off at all .

First the reason why I think most people get this, I get a nasty allergic reaction to dye. I have no reaction to this so its raison d'etre is a thumbs up. Next it is how well it sticks to the beard and I'm happy with that too, rubbing hot water needed to wash it off. Also, my white shirts don't get smudged. The container is a bit small though no?
