Perfect!!
I recently figured out how make the fondant centers for chocolates. I have a favorite rum flavor that I have been trying to find and this is it! I have been desperate enough that I bought this flavoring along with several others to taste test. The rest taste like each other. Real rum didn’t do the trick but this has the flavor I’ve been searching for. I hope they never run out of it.

Subtle flavor
There's nothing "wrong" with this rum flavoring, but it is simply more subtle than I prefer. I like a more robust dark rum flavor. This is similar to Bacardi light.

Perfect for baking
the previous person posting a comment, did not seem to know what to actually use this for. This is not the American rum extract or rum essence. This is the German rum aroma or flavoring, used in many German baking dishes. The ingredients are obviously going to be different from the American rum extract or essence. It is used in German dishes such as cakes and cookies. It already comes in the perfect portion as one bottle and most German recipes will state 1 little bottle of rum aroma in their recipe. The lid is very easy to remove, me personally I just remove it with my teeth. So if you do not plan on baking German cakes then do not give this a bad rating just because you do not know how to use it properly in your dish. The cake I used this with out of my German recipe (Dr. Oetker) book came out delicous.
