Nice flavour and fresh

This is the kind of paste that later makes you 'well known' for a specific dish - in this case, a green thai curry. Incredibly authentic flavours, and I can't see me going back to supermarket bought thai kits/mixes ever again. Large tub, and lasts for absolutely ever - a little most definitely goes a long way. Would definitely recommend!

Let me start by saying that thai green curry is one of my favourite dishes. I dislike thai food if it doesn't have enough chilies and is lacking the kick, but this paste takes things to the extreme. If you put the 'required' amount in your dish, then you get the right hotness but not enough curry taste. Too much, and you reach that point where spicyness overwhelms your taste buds. Might as well be eating chilies without the curry at that stage. If only the hotness would be toned down somewhat. Most people will be pleased with this product since it has that authentic taste, but not nearly as intense as I'd like it to be. Maybe it's the lack of fresh ingredients? This is still the best green curry paste you can buy though.

Authentic tasting Thai green curry paste. Use 2 heaped teaspoons for 1kg of chicken is about right as the paste is very salty and highly spiced with a lot of heat, you can add more if you prefer it hotter. Use a tin of 400ml of coconut milk (check that it has about 70% coconut extract) for a more creamy taste and texture to your curry. Add 1/4 teaspoon sugar to balance out the spices to your dish. Bought beginning of July 2020, expiry date 24/12/21. Will keep longer if stored in the fridge. The thick paste is in a tough see through bag inside a plastic tub, so storage is no problem. The paste is quite pungent, if you get it on your hands it is easily washed off, though the smell can linger. We have used jars of ready Thai green sauces that have been very acceptable but they have been quite expensive per meal and the texture is not quite right because of the maize starch added. This is the best product we have used yet.

It delivers good flavour and a good level of spiciness that I would call a "crowd pleaser” this is not too hot, but perfect for Thai food. Our go to paste for a Thai green curry.

Having tried many different curry pastes this is the best by far.

The flavour of the spices are really lovely, but when made as per instructions, it is incredibly salty. If you used less paste, the spices wouldn't be enough. Ingredients say it's 12.5%. Anyway, real shame as it was just far too icky with the salt.

Excellent produit, tout y est avec un super dosage des ingrédients. La date d'utilisation de la pâte est supérieure à une année. Pour une saveur un peu plus douce ne pas hésiter à ne prendre que la moitié de la quantité proposée sur l'emballage (avec la dose indiquée c'est très piquant). Très content de mon achat! ”

Amazing curry paste! This is my favourite green curry paste! If you follow the directions on the package you can make green curry that tastes as amazing as going out to an expensive Thai restaurant. It has a great spice level and you can decide how spicy you'd like it to be by increasing or decreasing the amount of paste you mix in with your coconut milk. My wife and I really like the amount recommended on the package. We mix in bok choy, and red peppers. It cooks nice and quick and then we serve it on jasmine rice!

Love love love! Extremely spicy so if making for 1st time only use 1 tsp at a time and monitor for your level of heat. Beautiful thai flavors and so easy to use. Large container. I've separated and used from frozen without any issues.
