Even Peterson System pipes didn't cure my wet smoking. However, when I drop a few small pellets down the reservoir under the bowl's draw hole, I get a dry smoke that burns down to ashes. Amazing.

The only reason I'm leaving four stars is the price. I thought I was getting a lot more for my money. That all being said, the little metal case is extremely handy for keeping in your pocket. I love Nørding Keystones. They work in almost any pipe. I collect vintage pipes and often they don't fit filters, or I don't want to damage them by putting screens in the bowl. A few Keystones solves that problem. Some people have complained that they affect the tobacco's flavor, but that hasn't been the case for me. They're great at absorbing moisture, and always ensure I don't waste tobacco. I highly recommend this product, but suggest finding a better deal on it.

I love these but that's an expensive price. I get them from my local tobacconist for under $5

...the price on these is crazy! It'll keep the dottle to a minimum, but doesn't prevent the moisture altogether, or gurgling whatsoever. They would be worth spending maybe $5-$7 on.

Purchased these recently and very impressed! I am generally pretty skeptical about this sort of thing. Well, holy cow!!! What a difference these made. I’ll buy a whole bag now. Just make sure you tip the pipe so the pellets don’t plug the bowl’s smoke hole. Throw maybe 5-7 in the pipe, tip it forward and add your favorite tobacco. The pellets will stay put and act and a desiccant for the moisture and reduce the potential “tongue bite” some tobacco mixes exhibit. Enjoy!!!

They perform their function but they do impart a slight flavor to aeromatics. Work best with pipes that have a significantly deeper chamber than airway hole.
