Looks and runs like a new macbook
I purchased a refurbished Macbook Pro 13" in "Excellent" condition with 256 GB Storage and 8 GB RAM to have a facetime machine. I haven't tested it for a long facetime call yet, but out of the box, it really looks like a new laptop. The charging adapter has seen better days, but it does work. I was skeptical about my purchase after reading some reviews, but I'm very pleasantly surprised with what I received. I do think the packaging could have been better; I received a generic computer box lacking padding, and that box was sitting inside an amazon box with even less padding. I don't blame the seller for it rattling around the amazon box freely, but it seems to have arrived without any damage. The colors on the screen are vibrant and beautiful. I haven't noticed any screen burn-in. There aren't any scratches on it either; it looks brand new. The battery is in good shape with 115 charge cycles. The camera doesn't have any issues, and when it's on, the green LED light illuminates. The hinge feels good upon opening and closing. There's some light wear on the keys from previous usage, but nothing major. All the keys work and respond to a regular press. The microphone is also in good shape. It does run a little warm, though, I'm also installing updates onto it. I also haven't owned a macbook before, but I have heard they run a bit warm, even when new, so take what I said about the warmth with a grain of salt. If you're looking for a lightweight laptop to get you by in college, buying this as a refurb is a steal.

Lasted me about 4-5 months. Not happy.
I bought this computer, needing it for school work, and was a cheap option for someone who didn’t have a big budget. It worked okay for about 4 months, had some issues such as the battery dying very fast and overheating a lot. Learned to live with it and only keep a few tabs open. Eventually, it stopped working, and wouldn’t let me do anything on the computer since the wifi wouldn’t enable. Took it to a repair place, turns out the motherboard was dying the whole time and didn’t have long left. Extremely upset that I spent 333 dollars on this product and Amazon won’t refund me or do anything at all since its about 1 month and a half past the return date. Which I understand, but obviously they need to have exceptions or make the return dates on these longer since they are CLAIMING that these are in “excellent condition” When they are on the brink of dying. Very unhappy that there has not been any problem solving on Amazon’s side. And if you buy one, if ANYTHING seems off immediately return the product because it will probably stop working justttt after the return date so they can short you a couple hundred of dollars! And what’s even better is that in order for them to fix my computer it would cost over 900 dollars…. When I payed over 300 dollars to get it in the first place. I would’ve been better off buying a brand new macbook then this crap :) Atleast it would have lasted me A LOT longer. It also came with a horrible covering on it that wasn’t even centered on the computer so I had to peel that off. I would like a refund or atleast half of my money back since this thing didn’t even last me half of a year. Waste of 300 dollars that goes to this stupid company.

Reliable Power for School and Life
The 13-inch MacBook Pro (2.3GHz Core i5) is a fantastic everyday companion. Whether I am balancing a full school workload or managing personal tasks, the performance remains smooth and efficient. The screen is crisp, the trackpad is incredibly responsive, and it is portable enough to take anywhere without sacrificing power. Best of all, it has been completely reliable with no issues since the date of purchase. If you need a premium, worry-free laptop that handles daily demands with ease, this is a solid investment.

It good and works well
I bought this MacBook Pro 13-inch (2017) and it has been working great so far. It is easy to carry around, and perfect for school and entertainment. Even though it’s an older model, it still performs well. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable laptop at a reasonable price.

Great seller and refurb
This is best refurb, took this company to make it right. 3rd refurb attempt for a bday present. 1st one the keys were sticky like 1980 Apple, it was bought from Chrome Source. 2nd battery need service upon initial startup, it was bought from Prime Souce. It took a true computer tech. This one is amazing. Keys are like butter and battery has lasted over a week on 1st charge. I'm so grateful for this company actually taking the time to correctly refurbish and quality control their products. I highly recommend this seller. Best refurber so far. Thanks so much, I'll buy again around Thanksgiving for a Christmas present.

Save your money and go elsewhere.
The computer itself looks good, however the battery is completely fried. I opened it, it was already dead, I plugged it in, it turned on and I charged it. I left it charging for 5 hours and it only charged to 80%. So I unplugged the charger and turned it on. It died in 3 minutes. Completely dead. I should have done more research before buying it, either I’m going to request the seller gives me a battery for free or I’m returning it and I’ll just buy a newer one from a different seller. The thing is I know people who have iPhone 8’s, iPhone 6’s, and older iPhones, you would think a 2017 MacBook would be able to hold itself together for 8 years, Apple is supposed to best quality but something also tells me that the seller probably buys these computers and sends them out as is without even testing them first to make sure they’re still functional. I was definitely skeptical after reading the reviews and all I can say is if you read this review, do yourself a favor and spend a little more money to get something with better reviews/ratings. Only 54%+/- people gave this a 5⭐️, and 24%+/- gave it a 1⭐️, you’ll have better luck going yo the roulette table and putting all your money on black. Overall, the computer looks good, but it runs like absolute trash. If i can they a new battery i ll be returning it, and now that I think about it, this computer was probably already returned and they just sent it out again hoping the next guy would forget about it. I’ll also delete this review if they send me another battery (or a whole new computer)

LASTS 1 MONTH
when I got the laptop, it was OK. It was beautiful. You know they advertise these laptops as if they’re perfect and have no issue with it whatsoever. It wasn’t until a month later that this laptop started displaying its flaws. From the slow cursor to it, not even being able to charge past 70% who would agree to pay 300+ dollars on a laptop that isn’t gonna last a month. They said that the laptop was new, but its just renewed, considering the fact that it completely shut off. I’ve had it on the charger for about a week now. There is no possible way how this MacBook could still be dead if it was charged all week, I was told to contact Amazon because they’re the ones who I bought it from and I was transferred to a Amazon customer service representative who said that I’d be able to get a new laptop free of charge because the one that they sent me no longer works. I agreed to that resolution because who wouldn’t? you just got a laptop from Amazon, and that laptop stops working less than 40 days after you purchased it who wouldn’t want a replacement? I was told by one customer service agent, unfortunately this agent was providing me with false information about this laptop YET AGAIN. I was told to message the seller, I did. The seller wasn’t responding in a timely manner so I contacted Amazon again. This is when I was told that the Amazon representative that was talking to me earlier didn’t give me the correct information so another agent had to tell me that the only way for me to get my money back or to get a replacement is if I get my money back, but they want me to send the laptop back and I refuse to send the laptop back if I can’t even get my bank information my address is my phone number is my personal information and on top of that I need to worry about how I’m gonna get into my iCloud being that I have two-step verification on my Apple account and I cannot get into that account without being on the previous device that my iCloud is now locked on. that being said when the seller finally responded they basically told me that Amazon is liable for whatever happens but when I spoke to Amazon, they said that the seller is liable for whatever happens so basically they’re just playing the blame game around me. Amazon had got their “ technical specialist” to help me, but honestly, the technical specialist was no better than I was, I’ve rebooted troubleshooting and tried to turn this laptop on about 5 to 10 times. The laptop will not turn on. why sell a product and advertise it as new and it can’t even withstand 40 days? why sell a product and you don’t even know who’s liable for the products defects after the customer gets it? Why sell a product that you don’t know anything about? nevertheless, I’m in the process of talking to Apple because this is my last resort to get all my information off the laptop before I send it back. The sellers communication is poor. Amazon handled it poorly and if I were you, I’d second-guess about buying electronics off of Amazon, considering they’re only renewed and never new. You will always have a defect or a problem with Amazon’s products and the only thing that they will provide you with is a return and if your return doesn’t meet their standards,( example: the laptop was perfectly fine and was functioning when Amazon sent it out. The laptop no longer works 2 months in, if you return it and amazon cant turn it on, then amazon charges you again.) then youre out of luck and out of $300-600 and they won’t even talk to you about getting it back. They will either delete the “contact us” chat or they’ll hang up in your face if you don’t pay the money

Took a chance, and lucked out.
Needed a new laptop in a pinch for school and took a chance. Definitely believe it’s hit or miss with referbs, but my experience was positive! Physical computer is great with only one minor knick on the bottom. Screen and keyboard are perfect. Nothing was dirty, including usb-c ports, and so far battery has no problems.
