Light in weight, heavy on warmth. Well made. Not sure about how it withstands washers, for haven't ran it through a cycle yet. Size okay for 5'6" and under. Would recommend twin size for taller people. Would purchase again. Make sure to fluff after it finished decompression from the vacuum packaging. (Note: pet fur sticks to the plaid fabric).

I told myself I wasn't going to quote Zoolander in this review, but I *do* feel like I'm taking crazy pills (that's the quote). How does this blanket have so many positive reviews? Sure the sherpa-like part is soft and warm-ish. But the blanket barely feels like a blanket to me. It's thin: Definitely not thick or hefty enough to be cozy. There seems to be no filling--it's just, like, a very thin sherpa layer with a thin flannel fabric sewed on the opposite side. It's not a great size: A bit too small to cover more than your legs. I'm a small gal but this barely covers you while you're on the couch. My partner laughed at it. We're not fancy people, but it looks cheap too. Find yourself something more substantial! This ain't it.

I got this as a Christmas gift for someone who needs to keep warm in the winters. Although I should have checked the size and I usually read a lot of the reviews, I saw this and knew it would be warm! Eddie Bauer makes good products so when I gave the person this gift they loved it! It was much smaller than I had hoped. I’m rating it high because it has kept them warm, they can walk around with it on so there is a multi purpose use, I explained how to keep the shape so there is no lumping or shrinkage on the cotton side. For those of you who have had shrinkage: wash in cold water, after washing squeeze or pull around the edges to keep the blanket from lumpy or shrinking areas, then dry on LOW. If no LOW setting I would tumble dry for awhile and then lay to dry. I usually air fluff it too afterwards but not all have to do that. Super warm,super comfy, great gift or for oneself, well made, Sherpa is thin but extremely warm! Thank you!

Joli plaid qui tient chaud. Petit bémol pour l'emballage. Il est arrivé tellement fripé car emballé sous vide que j'ai dû le repasser avec le fer réglé sur position soie.
