Minecraft: Guide to Farming

I am an avid Minecraft player looking to expand my knowledge of farming. This book has wonderful information, and while it might not have everything up-to-date, it still has the basics.

These days it is possible to get all the info you want online, and Minecraft wikis since the beginning have been the ultimate source for the information you would find in books like these. The difference is how they are tailored for kids and without exposing your kid to whatever might be shown on the internet, they are able to learn about different aspects of Minecraft. This book is an excellent resource in the sense of providing random info on farming, as well as actual suggestions and visual guides to how to get the best farm layouts for different kinds of farming items in the game. As a long time player I also learned a thing or two and my son devoured it during our summer travel. I would highly recommend it to any parent whose kids are playing minecraft (survival).

Age appropriate

This is a good book if you are into farming in Minecraft. Has a lot of varieties of farms,including the slime farm, some block farms, and your basic automated farming systems. Could've had a few more basic farms, but it's still a great book.

If you like Minecraft, want to learn more tricks and skills with the game, and don't want to watch annoying videos on YouTube, buy this book. Very well written, clear pictures, and easy enough for kids to understand (yet some of the skills are pretty advanced).

My kids find this, & all the Minecraft guides, very helpful. We have the entire library, & they're books worth having for those who enjoy playing Minecraft.

These Mojang Minecraft guidebooks are great. I have collected the whole hardback set so far as I have started playing Minecraft. I find them vary helpful in getting me to understand the basics of various aspects of the game. The layout of the book is pleasing to the eye and easy to read. Not too wordy, and with plenty of pictures and diagrams to help you get the most from it. The information contained is enough to get you understanding what the game is about and how its various mechanics work, without getting too bogged down in technicalities and descriptions. These would be ideal for young children, but also helpful to us older ones. They are also made vary well, with a good hard cover and thick pages.
