Product is solidly built with deep quality sound. All mechanisms operate smoothly and flawlessly. The only demerit to the unit is that the fast.forward and reverse switch does not lock when engaged ( you have to hold on to the switch ).

Repeat purchase of this product for me. I use this recorder several hours everyday. Sturdy, easy to use, long lasting. This is, however, the first time ordering this product from Amazon. Great product and great service. Thanks. Gary Gitlin Attorney at Law

I use this recorder for work in medical transcription, since it fits the mini tapes the psychiatrist I work for uses. It works pretty well, in my opinion. I haven't had any real issues with it. I am surprised such outdated equipment is still so expensive in general, but I do realize this is made in Austria, and that has something to do with it probably. For quality, I'd say it does its job well so far.

It works poorly but worst than this the tape is proprietary so cannot be used with any of my other microcassettes. Do not waste your money.

I replaced my original Philips Pocket Memo Model LFH-388 with another exact same model. The first one served me extremely well for over 7 years but finally, after excessive use, it died. I am looking forward to, at least, another 7+ years with this one.

Works fine, easy to use, much easier than the more expensive Phillips models. My typist says the sound is very good. Really good price

I have been using micro cassette tapes for years as I am a medical transcriptionist. This is a Mini-cassette recorder not a Micro-cassette recorder therefore the tapes for this recorder do NOT fit my standard transcription machine. Note Micro cassettes are about 1/4" smaller in width than a Mini-cassette. The two holes in the tapes are not compatible with the Mini vs. Micro software / machines. The Mini cassettes and micro cassettes are not interchangeable on my transcription machine therefore.

I have used the 488 (Professional) model for years and have no complaints. I have gone through two 488 models in 15 years, and I thought I would try this model. So far, there is no obvious difference and the product is working well. It is made in Hungary, and the materials and workmanship seem to be very good.

Il s'agit bien d'un dictaphone à "mini cassettes" et non à "micro cassettes". présentation de bonne facture. produit solide, pratique d'emploi, et d'assez bonne qualité d'ecoute et d'enregistrement. A noter que le caractère "rechargeable" necessite l'achat d'accumulateurs et surtout d'un chargeur non fournis.....Néanmoins il fonctionne très bien sur piles classiques.
