Great when you need a BIG soup spoon!
I've really gotten into large bowls of healthy soups for meals, but the drawback has been how LONG it takes to eat a big bowl of soup with a normal spoon. I went looking for a larger spoon and found these, and I love them. Not only do they have a large bowl so you get a good sized bite of soup, the handle is at the perfect angle to get to the bottom of a deep bowl. And the quality is great, I'll be able to pass these things down to my grandchildren!

Holds 20 mL or 1.5 tablespoons
These just arrived this afternoon as I was cooking a minestrone stew. I’m very happy with these spoons. The volume they hold is 20 milliliters or 1.5 tablespoons. I ordered other spoons claiming to be large and good for soup but they held less than a tab. Luckily I found these. I wish all spoons advertised would list volume capacity. Show being measured with minestrone broth. I know these will be great for my Bún bò Huế and Phở. Maybe even for a big bowl of breakfast cereal. I love the large volume compared to any other soup spoons. Best soup spoons I found on Amazon. Just ordered two more sets to have next time I host company.

It's good.
Good little spoon, smaller than I expected but I have found use for it.

Pleasantly surprised
I took a gamble and ordered 4 of these, not sure if they were going to be too big and unwieldy. In my pic, they are hanging on a Corelle bowl if that helps you with scale. You absolutely can not stick this spoon fully into your mouth, but you sip and pour the contents into your mouth from the side of the spoon, like a ladle. No spill-a-palooza, even for my kids. I ordered these as I wanted a stainless steel option similar to the Asian soup spoons we're used to where you essentially pour the soup into your mouth. Edges are smooth and though it looked like it was going to be intimidating to use, it wasn't. My left-handed husband said they look like they are made for righties, but the only difference in usage would be that his spoon would face away from him if he hooked it on a bowl. These look amazing and we found it worked perfect for soup and ramen.

Just love my spoons 😀
Love this spoon. I wanted a soup spoon that could hold a lot. I usually eat with a tablespoon but they only hold 15ml. I have several Chinese soup spoons that hold 30ml but they're kinda short or awkward to use. Melamine is too plasticky feeling and ceramics are too short. This thing is like a mini-ladle. It holds 30ml of fluid and it's quite wide. Sipping/eating from the side is easy but if you wanna fit the entire thing into your mouth, it will take a wee bit of effort. :o ( ) Initially, from the pics above, I was worried about the angle of the handle. Like most stainless spoons, the handle can be bent if needed. I adjusted both of mine slightly. If you're wondering how much 30ml equals, it is the same size as those medicine cups on top of cough syrup bottles or those plastic pill cups used by nurses in a hospital. I ordered two and I am very happy with my purchase. _______________ Two years later ... I just love my spoons. I use these spoons for almost everything, everyday, and they still look great. Once bent, the spoon handle strongly holds that position. They're smooth and patternless, so they have no crevices which makes them supereasy to clean. They're also long enough to get to the bottom of tall glasses. No rust, no stains. They're heavy-duty spoons.

Perfect For Soup
Arrived very quickly, comfortable to hold, and perfect size for a hearty soup. Have a nice appearance and look great along with the rest of the silverware. Also very easy to clean and wash.

Decent ladle, bad spoon
This is advertised as a ladle and ramen spoon but the edge is wide and flat where you would sip, making it a little uncomfortable. It is also metal, so you probably don't want to eat hot soup with it unless you want to be peeling skin off your lip a couple of hours later. Ramen spoons are typically ceramic or wood because those materials insulate, while metal conducts. The handle is also at an awkward angle, completely straight and has a wide edge that can dig into your fingers. So it's a bad spoon for eating. But it is a good serving spoon for curry or even to go with a gravy bowl.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement. It's cheap crap sold at an unrealistic price - the price led me to believe it would be of matching quality, but it is NOT! If you're tempted, DON'T, you will be disappointed.

Cheaply made, sharp edges. But, my husband needed a soup spoon the size of his head so there you go.

I bought these spoons for my children to have their soup, as most existing child spoons are very shallow, resulting in spillage. They're expensive...but they're also great, and made of really good quality, heavy steel - sufficiently thick, that even I as an adult, would have trouble bending one! Not too heavy for my children though, who both loved them - problem solved! These spoons will last a lifetime. My only minor grumble would be (...and this isn't the fault of the seller nor the product), was that I had import duties to pay on these (I live in the UK), which I didn't expect. Despite that minor inconvenience, I'd heartily recommend these to anyone - they really will last forever, perhaps my children will pass these down to theirs, in due course!
