This works fine if you are going to use it as a toy, or have access to running water with at least 3 feet of drop if you want to charge a phone off the grid. I just hooked it up to an LED for my kid to play with. It seems to require about 1 psi to fully illuminate an LED, which equates to about 30 inches of water. I have no idea how much current it will produce at this pressure level so you will have to do some experimenting if you are trying to charge a phone or something. The threads are 1/2" NPT. To use the wire connector, search for JST-XH 2-pin connectors.

This product is advertised as a “hydroelectric generator,” but what I received is actually a flow sensor (GOSO F50-12V). It does not generate any usable electricity. The unit requires 12V input power just to operate, which means it’s not producing power—it’s consuming it. There is no output to run lights, charge batteries, or do anything described in the listing. The design may look like a turbine, but internally it’s built for measuring water flow, not generating energy. This is very misleading, especially for anyone expecting a small hydro generator. If you’re looking for something to produce power from water flow, this is not the right product. Returning this item due to incorrect description.
