I bought this cocktail maker for my partner for Christmas. It arrived in a really lovely box and looked absolutely beautiful. However I noticed that the copper on the base had already began peeling to crumple and was ready to peel off.After the first use the rim of the lid was already scratched and flaking off. We've used it about 3 times now but every time more and more of it flakes off. The base of the shaker is pretty much back to silver and the rim of the lid just looks really bad. Other reviewers seem to be having the same issue and have pictures of this. Not to mention the flakes from the rim have gotten in some of the drinks too.I'd also like to point out as well that the shaker was just rinsed to wash it between uses. Id be really afraid to put it in a dishwasher or even use a sponge on it for fear of it coming off.Overall the cocktail kit is a really pretty gift which is quite cheap. It'd be perfect for anyone who wanted a cocktail kit for decoration but rarely actually makes cocktails. Unfortunately I just can't recommend this for anyone actually looking to use one. The entire copper coating just feels cheap and it's so dissapointing to see if fall apart in your hands.

Looks amazing and was good value but copper is prone to chipping. Ive used a couple of times and is ok so far; there is a scratch on one of the items and the lid rim is silver from taking lid off/on but it comes with a 12 month quarentee.

Great cocktail set - exactly as the picture suggests. I would definitely recommend this purchase.

Would look great on any kitchen counter or bar, and definitely impress your friends at parties!Presented nicely in the delivery box, the set is a great quality for the price, and the recipe book is a nice added extra. Love everything about this product - bring on the cocktails and mocktails!

My cocktail set started to peel after one use

I ordered this due to Christmas approaching and us doing the entertaining this year. It arrived promptly and was in a smart gift box.Upon opening the box there was a recipe card which included lots of different recipes to try which I’m quite excited about and I can stick it on the inside of a cupboard so it’s always to hand rather than some booklets that you usually get.The items themselves are gorgeous. A stunning copper colour and include a cocktail shaker and lid, muffler, bar spoon, drinks pourer, jigger and strainer.The colour really does create a striking centrepiece and I can’t wait for it to be the main focus on my drinks trolley this Christmas. Hopefully a good time will be had by all. Would highly recommend as a gift or just as a gorgeous addition to your home
