Overall good, but replace the cheap gauge
The vise grips work great, the armature is easy to assemble and once it's broken in a bit, very easy to use. However the gauge broke on me day one. Replaced it with a better quality gauge and it's been mint ever since.

Great and reliable tool
I needed this tool for measuring rotor, run out and did not want to buy the expensive snap on one. This one works just as great and is very reliable.

Great tool for finding a brake pulsation
Great quality, all steel meterial, quality of locking pliers feels decent (only meant to hold a dial guage in place) Over all... GREAT tool for find exactly where your brake pilsation is at. If peoperly used.

Helps me check my brake jobs involving rotors
Without this tool, it is hard to secure a dial indicator easily

Very hard to consistently get readings.
I used it for brakes and was just looking for highs and lows which it worked ok for. If you need something very precise, look elsewhere.

Saw this tool on several youtube videos. The arm looked flimsy but it tightens up pretty firm. Works very well.

Works as intended.
