Quick fix to long term problem
This was a newer model than what my furnace had in and was a slightly higher number which didn't matter at all. Instant fix to non-working heater. I had been plagued for the past two heating seasons with intermittent heat. I tested everything, relaced cheap sensors and parts but nothing fixed for long. In fact, I started questioning if the heater was working after I was inside just because I bumper whatever was bad. Long story short, I had previously tested this part, and it seemed to operate properly so I ruled it out. After I tried everything else, I decided to hook up a jumper wire to the contacts to bypass the switch and can you believe it fired right up. I quickly searched for and ordered this part, and life has been good for weeks now. I am certain the old switch was failing, and this was a perfect fix! What a waste of time and energy the last two seasons and what an easy fix. I suffered with many cold nights and the fix was super inexpensive. Mounts with just a screwdriver and one screw in my furnace. Move the hoses over and you're done.
