Atomos Ninja V 5" 4K HDMI Recording Monitor with NP-F770 Lithium-Ion Battery Pack, Compact AC/DC Charger & Screen Cleaning Wipes

I have the sony A7III that does not have a flip monitor (like most Sony Camera's). Face detection does not work in 4K. Atomos solved both my issues. The quality of the video is phenomenal. The audio is usable (I used a 3 frame delay audio delay) Used with Zoom H4N audio syncs up easily. It has features like focus peaking with multiple exposure tools that I find myself using frequently. I have had many issues with my Sony A7III monitor. I have lost shots that I was sure were in focus. They were a bit soft. This monitor is SHARP!!!! When combined with focus peaking it is worth the money! I bought the small rig cage that hold the SSD caddy very well. Save your money and buy a compatible SSD with the included caddy. The top and bottom of the cage are Nato rails. You can use a Nato clamp to hold it up. I highly recommend this monitor. I wish that I have not waited for so long. Great tool to get excellent images. Get the Star tech cable that attaches to and SSD. The downloads are FAST! I also got the big Sony batteries. The Atomos hood attaches well with the Velcro straps.

WARNING As the title states, I purchased from Kellards, and all of the items in my order had been previously used. I was disappointed. Never again will Ifrom this seller. I purchased another unit from a different vendor and love the monitor. Picture quality is exceptional, and it works as expected. I was considering the new Atomos, but it had features that I would likely not need for a few years. So decided to save the money and bought this one instead.

What a great screen for my photography. I can see so much more which means I take better pictures in field and can focus on editing in post. The quality is great. The style is great. My only complaint is the battery is so heavy. This is 2022 have slimmer batteries.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER! I'm rating this 5 stars so hopefully people will see this. The description says nothing about these items as being used; I was either sent a used item or the the company is opening the boxes and selling this items (DID) numbers to other people and sticking you with a useless product. For more info: Atomos requires you to register every one of their products in order to unlock the full feature set on your devices. Everything checked out until I got to the (DID) - Device I.D. This had already been registered by another user somewhere and rendered my purchase completely useless. You can't access pro res functions or a whole list of other crutial functions that are required for professional applications. My guess is that the company is hoping you won't take the registration seriously and that your return window will expire before you realize it's non functional and you'll be stuck with a useless unit. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

This is worth it! I love this monitor. I first got into Atomos with the Ninja Star, very long time ago. I decided to upgrade to the Ninja V and still keep my old Ninja Star. So glad I got this. The price is right. The resolution is amazing. I hook it up as part of my SmallRig cage, Sony a7III and SmallRig handle.

This monitor/recorder looks great compared to my old Andycine. I use it more for only monitoring unless I’m recording my camera screen. Only reason I give it a 4 star it because the battery placement isn’t great and the fan noise is bad depending on how you capture audio.

Love this monitor. The Raw package is a little confusing but it’s the operator more likely the product issue. It’s a learning curve. The picture quality is amazing and the device is fantastic work managing workload

I’ve experienced buyer’s regret with some of the gear I have bought, but definitely not this. This is an amazing tool whether you are recording an event or a podcast. Paired with the Nikon Z6, it has elevated my videography tremendously.
