Works pretty well on an older PC (Core-2 Duo 2
Works pretty well on an older PC (Core-2 Duo 2.6GhZ) I use this with a FrSky Taranis X9D, and have had no problems with it. This simulator is very accurate, with lots of models and environments, and I can already tell my flying ability is improving because of it. The challenges are fun, though more like a video game than instructive. The fixed wing and helicopter models are dead-on, and very challenging to fly. The multicopters are a work in progress, and are pretty fun as well. Acro and stabilized mode are supported for multirotors, with both line-of-site and FPV flying, and there is a RTH function thrown in as well. Overall, I'm glad I settled on this simulator, and I look forward to the free upgrades with more models and features.

Great Sim. Only wish it had a built in setting for the FrSky Taranis. I did get it to work, but it would be a nice upgrade in a future patch to have the radio show up in the selection menu like it does Spektrum, Futaba, etc.

Beware: Ridiculously clunky, non-functioning registration process. Without registration of course it does not function. After installation, software did not present necessary fields to enter various registration numbers-- we scoured the product to eventually find all three of them in obscure locations not described in the literature. The company's website did not function by way of providing promised access to get the program running. It's like a Fort Knox level of security effort for a toy application. My hat's off to those fortunate enough to actually get this thing running.

Not the best RF version for flying helicopters
The Real Flight (RF) simulator is great. Very realistic physics. But, if you fly helicopters, you're better off buying the Interlink Elite edition. My original intent was to use my Spektrum DX8 TX with the RF wired interface. Due to difficulties in getting this set up, I ended up returning this edition and getting the Interlink Elite. Must have
A must have for anyone in R/C . Great learning tool and allows you to try stunts without the expense of repairs. It is not cheap but has already saved me many trips to the hobby store. I have the wired interface and allows me to use my dx6i but still need to use the keyboard for a few options. That would be my only dislike

This program is amazing for beginners trying to enter the hobby or experienced pilots trying to master some skills. There are many new features such as the ability to create and edit maps with great detail and fly with your friends or strangers through multiplayer games. The one thing that throws everything off is the hefty pricetag for this program. I got this version because I already have an RC Transmitter (JR), and it works flawlessly with the system, but other versions of the program can go up to $150. To me, I cannot justify spending that much money on a CD and its contents. For someone who is willing to make the investment, you will 100% enjoy your purchase.

So Realistic Flying Simulator, Worth every Penney!
i bought this software to get better at the controls before flying any fast planes. I already have a FlyZone Calypso and have been flying it. (Very easy to fly) Anyways I installed this software on my Windows 10 computer and selected the FlyZone Calypso power glider...Wow! Flying it on the simulator felt just like it did when I was flying at the field. I am very confident that I will be able to fly more sophisticated planes after using this software. One thing I should add about the installation of this software: I have never used the 'Trainer' option on my Taranis X9D Plus transmitter (I only flew multirotors before) and so I didn't know that my transmitter had to be in 'Trainer-Slave' mode for the software to let me input the serial numbers. I read in the RealFlight instructions that the wired interface and radio had to be connected on radio turned on, but I didn't read anywhere that the radio had to be in Slave mode. Have fun, I am
